Feedback gets my vote. While the Laces are extreeeeemely narrow, they can at least act as shoddy combat tricks sometimes. "You attack with your Black Knight into my White Knight? Oh look, he's blue now and can block and kill your guy." "Why, yes, sir, I can Terror your Hypnotic Specter!" Like I said, really narrow, and still supbar in those situations.
But while Feedback is somewhat less narrow (not too much though, because there are pleeeeenty of decks that don't even run enchantments), its effect is just terrible. They take 1 damage each turn. Whoooo. Not very exciting at all.
Regarding the block as a whole Thoughtlace was a pure waste of space. At no point would this card be helpful if a DRAFT so to speak if one could occur these days.
My vote is on this pile of crap Thoughtlace. S.M.
The whole cycle is the most useless cycle of cards in A/B/U, and possibly in all of magic.

Okay, I know I said I hate all the laces, but I think Demonic Attorney wins this as being the worst of the ante cards. It's a card that makes you waste mana to force you and your opponent to put another card in the pot. So it's a dead card that lessens to odds of you winning and forces you to lose more if you lose the game.

At least Demonic Attorney can be used right near when you win so that you can get another card out of your opponent. And some ante cards were powerful, Contract from Below is a one-sided draw seven spell for B!

Trash is trash. Demonic Attorney and Contract were ok in their own ante uses. This one is just trash. If banned in vintage is a limiting factor, then obviously Deathlace
Demonic Attorney. Deathlace is probably the strongest Lace, as there are plenty of cards that care about being black (white has lots of pro-black cards, black has lots of removal that prohibits black creatures, black has lots of Fear cards).
Even IF you're playing ante (you're not), the Attorney is just terrible. Naturally, if we're excluding all ante cards from this vote for some reason, my vote does in fact change to Deathlace.
My vote goes for the Deathlace {All laces suck, but this is clearly the weak link for back}..........Deathlace hands down!
Oh to the members choosing the ANTE cards.......well play for ante then tell me if those cards suck......I still remember those days like yesterday.
S.M.
Deathlace gets my vote, but the quality of ante cards tends to be low.
Even though Professor Oak is a fantastic card if you and your friends are actually playing with ante, were there ever monoblack "screw around with ante" themed decks that used it alongside Darkpact and Demonic Attorney? HMs to those two.
