TAP ability to do 2 damage to a target creature or player 50% of the time. So 1 dmg per turn on average. If you haven't buffed himself somehow, he commits suicide, making this ability very conditional.
His direct damage ability is red's most prolific trait, so it's not like Bangchuckers are bringing an off-color trait at expensive cost with drawback. If this card was green (with a different creature type..) it would be slightly more playable.
Bonebreaker Giant may be the 2nd worse, but at least he is not very overcosted for a vanilla creature, and has extreme splashability. I've played him in limited with some success, playing several in a deck when all other creatures were grabbed. I have never put Bangchucker in a limited deck.
I have, and he's worked out well when I have. He's awesome with Goblin Chieftain, and there's plenty of late pick-up auras that work well with him too.
Scrambleverse has some fun applications in multiplayer, but that's it. Bonebreaker Giant is a vanilla 4/4 for 5 which, while not exciting or creative (neither of which has anything to do with power level), is more than likely going to make a red limited deck. Bangchuckers is conditional but ok. Circle of Flame is a fine sideboard card in limited that just shuts down some decks.
The only card I can see with an argument over Scrambleverse is Firebreathing. I don't see how the other three cards mentioned so far are worse than those two, at all.

Well, using auras in general are bad in limited. Using a creature that RELIES on auras, or a single tribal rare in the set, for a relatively weak effect, is typically worse. Not saying he can never accomplish anything in limited, but I would never call him awesome unless you get really luck with your draws (chieftan, bangchucker, they get no removal) and/or your opponent has a weak deck/board position to beat on.
Firebreathing is an aggressively costed aura that could have use on creatures with evasion. Not bad for an aura, even if auras are bad.
Scrambleverse can be very powerful in casual, or even EDH at times. If you play a deck without too many strong permanents (as opposed to focus on spells), when you play it it becomes basically "you get a 50% chance to gain control of each of your opponent's permanents". (with more players your odds to take control are reduced but there will be more chances). You also untap right then, so you can abuse cards you got right away (besides summoning sickness).
That is not a weak effect, even if it will never see play in constructed/limited.
Scrambleverse: Has potential in a deck with few permanents; also multiplayer. Circle of Flame: Reasonably good versus 1-toughness decks; possibly better in multiples; best with cards like Death Pits of Rath. Wall of Torches: defender.dec; has 4 power for 2 mana so maybe power_matters.dec.
Bonebreaker Giant: The most unnecessary card, least creative. Has nothing to it.
Erm, bonebreaker giant is power creep to the angery angery men from m11 (although i prefer that 5 mana 4/4 warcry attacks each turn to boring old giant)
there is no legitimate reason to put that card in a deck
the people claiming Bangchuckers have obviously never played them in limited and had them knock off 4 creatures in a row
Also, this list is kind of invalid because there are some really good cards in here (Glissa, City of Traitors, etc). I know we're being thorough, but it seems weird to put a $30 card on a list of bad cards

Scrambleverse is a bomb which is effective in the right deck (and in casual play). It also is unique and has flavor. Bangchuckers is just a lot worse version of Goblin Artillery
You're right, those people probably haven't had Bangchuckers knock off four creatures in a row. Those people would also be the vast majority, since your scenario only happens 1 in 16 times (1/2 ^4, or 6.25%), and would require 4 weak targets. 4 mana investment is horrible for a 2/2 which could easily be killed off if it was actual a concern. Jank limited cards can beat jank limited decks, though, I won't argue that, but there are tons of cards that are better for beating bad decks in m12 limited.
50/50 chance of just flat failing to do **** other than kill itself. The other, to Shock something. On an overpriced body. At uncommon.

Scrambleverse is at least funny, and great in Chaos magic. Bangsuckers will NEVER be useful. In drafts I took land over them. They were that bad. I rarely saw anyone use them effectively. Half the time someone just cast them, passed, turn, then tried to use them and they killed themselves first. Well, that was really useful, eh? Bah.

Yes you can.

Scrambleverse is worse because at least the Bangchuckers can reliably kill all the illusions.

An ability exists on the stack independently of its source. Removal of the source after that time won't affect the ability. Some abilities cause a source to do something rather than the ability. Any activated or triggered ability that references information about the source checks that information when the ability is put onto the stack. Otherwise, it will check that information when it resolves. If the source is no longer in the zone it's expected to be in, its last known information is used.

Odds of pulling a JtMS from a WWK pack: 1:80
Odds of pulling any specific rare in 5th Edition: 1:133
So, on average, 1 JtMS every 2.222 boxes or 1 Bird of Paradise every 3.694 boxes. Yeah, I'll take my odds with Mythics, they are easier to get than old rares.
