I feel like it'd be boring archetype-wise even if costs less to get into competitively. It wouldn't change how I play (mono-red in every format!) but even when it limits goodstuff decks it limits the really weird, cool, and creative decks even more. (Eg. Humanimator, The Aristocrats, Omnidoor, Immortal Servitude Combo, etc.)
Given that guildgates are a form of dual land (ie: can produce more than one color of mana)...
I believe what the OP is getting at is asking about a situation where the only lands in standard could produce one color (or less for some special lands) of mana.
Honestly I think the format would revolve around one and two color decks as a result of that. With the single-color decks having the most consistency due to the lack of any colored mana issues, whereas the two-color decks would have more flexibility and power but have the potential for greater mana issues.
Would be an interesting change of pace, but at the same time, one that would be unlikely to be terribly popular among many of the standard playerbase I would imagine.
I think two-color decks would still be perfectly viable, and I even think that you could get away with adding a splash of a third color to a two-color deck. I mean, if you can do it in Limited, what's to keep you from doing it in Standard? You would just have to be careful to avoid cards with double casting costs or multiple colors in their casting costs. Other than that, you should be fine.
You'd find primarily one colour decks with a splash into another.
RDW would still smash face, mono black would do really well as it has a one coloured wipe.
Would be hard to build a meta specifically around it as they would need good card balance
My opinion is Other. I would not care. I can never afford duel lands and don't honestly care whether my opponents can so it would not affect me either way.

If I can do 4 color with basics in this standard I feel I can do anything, But seriously, I welcome no more duals and hope they go away, I understand why they are there, but I don't like it.

There would have been a message here about Jace, but Jace feigned interest and counterspelled any other reference of him in my signature...
