I'm a big fan of Expedition Map. It can be played in any color deck (a big deal to me since I don't typically play many green decks) and can fetch up important missing pieces of land combos such as the Urzatron or the Cloudpost / Glimmerpost / Vesuva package. If you just need mana ramping there are lots more efficient options, but for tutoring special utility lands in decks without green in them I don't think there's any better option than Expedition Map
Crop Rotation is by far the best tutor that puts any land into play. It is card disadvantage though.
Living Wish or Sylvan Scrying are the most efficient at putting any land into your hand. Living Wish has the benefit that it also gets creatures. Expedition Map is less efficient, but only uses colourless mana, which may be useful.
If you only want basics, and you want ramp, then Kodama's Reach and Cultivate are by far the best ramp spells imo. Harrow/Explosive Vegetation/Sakura-Tribe Elder take third place imo, depending on the format. Rampant Growth just isn't worth it if you can run Sakura Tribe Elder instead.

If you're searching for a single land, Crop Rotation is hard to beat. If you're looking for something that gets you multiple lands, then there are a plethora of options, but I'd stick with in old favorite in Explosive Vegetation.
Properly think about that card. The deck I tried it in, this is typical:
T1: land, Birds.
T2: land, Chrome Mox, Natural Balance.
Makes friends in multiplayer.
Edit: janky Coalition Victory deck, I mix that up with a Mirage rare to make my first Birds all five colors.

My favorite 2 card combo is Yavimaya Elder and Primal Growth.
Primal growth gets even better if you can copy it, since the kicked version will get copied.
R/G Reiterate Ramp? I guess.
Wargate is solid, as it puts a land into play for just 3 mana.
Tempt With Discovery can be an absolute gem in multi-player; especially if your opponents are weak or if they think you are!
Expedition Map has been mentioned, but I'll point out how nicely it can work with Academy Ruins.
I'm not sure if Thawing Glaciers has been mentioned, but it's really nice with untap effects.
