Then have him eat Nicol Bolas and the Magic universe can be awesome again. He takes over the Infinite Consortium and turns it into a trans-multiverse Izzet League. His agents scour the multiverse in Venser's planeships looking for magic to learn, technology to improve upon, and less intelligent people to condescend to.
Ramp into a Hive Mind, then play any pact. A guy I play against ramps into in Turn 2 all the time. Some combinaiton of Dark Rituals, Depsrate Rituals, Pyretic Rituals, Rite of Flames, Chrome Mox's, etc. He drops the Hive Mind, then plays any pact and wins.
My son hates it when I play Silence during his upkeep. Then in my turn, I use Venser, the Sojourner to blink my Mnemonic Wall out, then get Silence back at the end of my turn to do it all over again. Yeah, it's not the best, but you should see the look on his face...eventually I'll tell him he can Doom Blade my wall in response to things...
I also played a UW deck that used Chronomantic Escape, and 2x Paradox Haze to lock down my opponent's creatures. It wasn't often that it happened, but it did enough to make it funny
Odds of pulling a JtMS from a WWK pack: 1:80
Odds of pulling any specific rare in 5th Edition: 1:133
So, on average, 1 JtMS every 2.222 boxes or 1 Bird of Paradise every 3.694 boxes. Yeah, I'll take my odds with Mythics, they are easier to get than old rares.

Why would you ever do that vs imprinting silence on isochrons scepter?
this wasn't an intentional combo but it was hilarious combo none the less.
6 player EDH game free for all. 1 player has a hive mind out. i'm playing junk, having thoroughly filled my graveyard with many many creatures that have ETB triggers and leave the battlefield triggers thanks to survival.

i cast living death.
Speaking of Unintentional combos, did I mention the time I played Dream Halls against someone's Kobold-Windbrisk Heights deck.
Why is Voltaic Key+Time Vault more broken than Tezz+Time Vault.
Voltaic Key is a two card combo, Tezz is a one card combo.
Tezz is 3UU. This means it is severely limited in what decks it can go into, as well as being painfully slow.
Voltaic key, on the other hand, is 1cc. It goes in any deck other than ichorid. It mana fixes with moxen, or just plain generates more mana in cases of mana crypt and metal worker. Its immune to damage. Tezz, on its own, does nothing else, and if you have to use its "one card combo" ability to fetch a timevault, leaves you open for a turn for something to swing in and kill it. Tezz, for being a combo piece, is just horrible in an aggro matchup, which shouldn't be the case for combo (because it isn't; its a control kill condition).
Speed, on multiple levels. Tezz costs more and Tezz needs two turns to lock the enemy out.
Other than that, Channel + Fireball hasn`t been named.
Maybe I'm dumb, but how is Channel fireball a turn 1 combo? You need a land, then a 0 cost mana producer, then channel, and fireball, and that just leaves you at 1 life and your opponent at one life, and then you need to pass, and die to anything your opponent has (shock, bolt, etc)
The only way I can see the win is if your land is Glimmerpost so you can pay 20 life, but that combo has been around a lot longer than SOM.

I'm a much bigger fan of seeing get this type of gutting than an infinite lock of a turn one killer. Channel + Fireball is a turn 1 kill, yes. But this is BRUTAL and much more fun to do:D
Black Lotus, Entomb, Worldgorger Dragon, mountain, Animate Dead, Fireball.
Both pretty broken.
Doesn't work. If you're going to use the infinite mana from a worldgorger, you either have to stop the gorger by animating another creature or use an instant X spell.

Reckless Waif; It's the red Delver of Secrets.

otherwise, voltaic key + time vault
Voltaic Key is a two card combo, Tezz is a one card combo.

i cast living death.
Yawgmoth's Will+ a full graveyard
Krark-clan Ironworks + any mana producing artifact=every artifact land or mox is now a black lotus
Time Vault + Tezzeret
Speaking of Unintentional combos, did I mention the time I played Dream Halls against someone's Kobold-Windbrisk Heights deck.
4 Cruel Ultimatiums later I realized that was a mistake.

Not easy to pull off, but if you do, lulz ensue.

land/mox + lotus or 3ple elvish spirit guide
Which, in it's format consists of...
die roll
Lotus, Mox Ruby, Channel, Fireball, gg.

Not as spectacular as you think; you cannot end the loop, so you cannot cast Fireball.
