Do you ever look at card art and ask yourself "what the heck is going on in that card art?". This isn't a copy of the worst art thread... some of the art I'm talking about looks cool... it's just hard to tell what's going on...
For me, Thraximundar and Tarmogoyf have pretty confusing art. I figured out what's in goyf's art... where his head is and such.. but for Thrax... I have no idea where on the art Thraximundar is supposed to be... can someone point out where his head, torso, limbs etc. are? I just see a cool looking flaming spiky blob...
I agree with Tarmogoyf and Thraximundar (I still don't really see it there)...Reaper King is another one that confuses me...is the pumpkin thing the head? If so, is there supposed to be a face somewhere? I kinda see legs and arms, but that's about it.
I could explain what i see inthat one.
On the bottom left, a bird with a long beak biting into another blue bird ,who is trying to spread it's wings. then there is a rhino with lots of small birds on it in the top right is it's head.
Eternity Snare is a minotaur who's been immobilized for so long that a crow is sitting on it (crows are known as intelligent animals, who'd never approach anything remotely dangerous-looking and only go near things they're known to be harmless for long enough).
Chameleon Blur does need more explanation:
The red creature on the left is a chameleon. You can tell by the shape of its green eyes. Next to it is a green humanoid, who seemed to froze in a battle position. The rock-like white creature is an ogre of sorts. The face in the bottom is wailing, same with the one on top. The large blue creature on the right is facing the rock-like one. It's a scene of a battle being halted, hence the damage prevention.
But yes, I'm with MajoraX, I have NO idea why this wasn't the first card mentioned in this thread. At least you can tell the taxonomy in 'Mundar and 'Goyf easily.

I am in sheer awe of how you came to that. You sir, win the the thread for that.
Stasis is meant to represent the "balance" and uniformity that a "stasis" creates. You pay blue mana to maintain this stasis, to balance the "scale." It's a symbolic piece.
Chameleon Blur is a guy hiding from a monster in plain sight with a chameleon like camouflage. He has his arms outstretched in a sort of "walk like an Egyptian" pose. I think.

Really? What are they doing in that picture. To me it looks like they are "doing the nasty" while covered in blood.
I just realized that pulse shows some sort of mushroom cloud.. had the card been painted a bit darker, it would look much cooler...

hmm, strange. It's a dragon being pulled back into the aether.
Sorry, I guess the autocard just go to the newest version of the card. How can I link it to the version of the card I want.
