Hi,
Some friends and started playing Magic again. We are using 3rd,4th and 5th edition. These are the cards we had we stopped playing.
My question is I was being attacked by a 2/2 creature with +1/+1 enchantment with Instill Energy on it. It also had a tap ability. I had meekstone out.
He attacked me then used instill energy to unto it. During his next turn he untapped is that allowed given I had meekstone out?
Sorry what I meant to say was he attacked with his creature which was 3/3 then untapped to use its tap ability. So that's twice in a turn.
I was arguing since he used the instill ability and the once his turned ended his creature was tapped, he couldn't untap during his next untapped phase since I had meekstone out.
A 3 pöwer creature does not untap during the untap step of its controller when meekstone is out. He can, however, untap his creature with the enchantment during his next turn.
