So I own a Unlimited Gauntlet of Might that I bought from a card game shop maybe about 6+ months ago and I decided to try and do some test on it to check if it's fake. I've done the water and bend test and it pass those test. The light test I'm not terribly good with but when I shined the light into the front of the card with the back facing me I was able read the words on the card. So I was hoping maybe you guys on the website with better knowledge of seeing checking for fakes would be able to tell me if it is.
You're not supposed to be able to have light shine through the card, that's abnormal.

Depends on how the light test is done. I turn on my phone's flashlight and lay the card on the phone. It's bright enough to reliably read text through any card. What you really want to do is perform the test with a known good card from the same language/edition to account for changes in printing ovee the years and look for different amounts of light or a significantly different color of light shining through. Example: to test a UL Black Lotus you might try and find a UL Iron Star or other UL known good artifact to compare. Excessive trasnparency is of course bad but reading text through the card with a bright enough light source is normal.

I haven't seen a fake yet that passes the light test. Most of them pass the water test easily due to the gloss coat. I have never seen one that passes the bend test. They all have creased to some degree.
White core fakes are TRASH. Easily recognizable from a mile away. They're glossy, but in a way that is sticky. They remind me of cheapass dollar store poker cards.
Blue core fakes are also pretty much trash. Maybe a LITTLE better, but every one I've had feels very thin and flimsy.
Black core fakes are the best, but every one I have has a very glossy coat, and they are extremely durable.
The kind of wear that I see on your Gauntlet is not something I've been able to reproduce. I've tried various grits of sandpaper, rubbing them across my desk, roughly shuffling, etc. I do this so I don't get scammed when possibly purchasing a collection.

Funny enough. Looking at the scans compared to the actual card, the card is a lot darker. Thanks for your help.
