After reading all of the recent posts about counterfeiting I have become worried about my Power 9 set, in particular my 2x Black Lotus cards. There is some wear in the middle of both sides of the cards (it looks to be from handling it without a sleeve for too long. They have the correct feel of a beta card, they pass the light test compared to other beta cards I own, and they bend tested fine. I also looked under a loupe and the dot printing pattern seems to be there but I just don't know for sure... I attached a link to the highest resolution scans I could for both cards front and back, thanks so much for all feedback!
Sorry, your link doesn't work for me. So no comments for the pics.
From the description it's impossible to tell you one way or another. Somewhat worn cards are always the hardest ones to verify, but if they pass the light test, they most likely are not rebacked, which used to be the most common way to fake cards before modern day fakes. But rebacks usually were either floppy or toio stiff and the glue work showed up in the light test.
For most fakes the ink dot patterns are a dead giveaway, as are several details on the fonts, mana symbols, black borders and on the back of the cards.
But without seeing the scans I cannot say anything about your cards specifically.
