It's not a good idea on any level. Doing so completely decimates any value these cards would have on the market, amongst all the other problems you're bound to encounter.
Sorry, I have no suggestions on what size pouch to use.
i'm not sure why this comes up as frequently as it does.
what purpose would it serve?
it destroys the value of the card, there's no way to get it back out of the laminate without wrecking it completely. it doesn't make it easy to shuffle - and the chances you'll get them all cut exactly the same is about zero so cheating through marked "sleeves" is definitely viable here. i guess you could use it for display? kind of tacky though and there's other ways to make a card display look better.
if you're looking to protect the cards more just double sleeve. get some perfect fits and slip them inside a standard sleeve and there you go.
Not looking through the archives, my guess is about once a year? About the same on other forums as well by my reckoning.
Sadly, people still do it despite all the advice and warnings. The saddest was when a kid brought his laminated and "perfectly trimmed" cards to his teacher wondering how much he could get for them.

Total value... $0.
With extreme care you might be able to slice them out of the laminate, but thats a lot of work.
So unless its a super expensive card, nobody would bother.
