MTG Salvation

The title says it all: What's your top 10 cards you want to see in masters 25? Since this set is basically open ended and isn't locked to any one format there's probably more choices than people are actually familiar with. That being said, these are my top picks:

Honestly, this got kind of hard near the end because there's obvious cards like Karn Liberated, Noble Heirarch, and Chalice of the Void that could all use another print, but there are old favorites that just haven't had the spotlight in a while that could use some help as well. I'm actually kind of surprised how few printings there are of Lava Spike. Also, Tooth and Nail is a card that has only ever gotten a reprint in the original modern masters set. Kind of wanted to put some things that showed up in masters 2017 in here, but those feel a bit out there.

Finally, give EDH players another Doubling Season print. The card had a glorious two printings and it's one of the most popular commander cards out there for so many strategies.

Every great P3K card that hasn’t been reprinted at all, would be a great start. EDH thanks you, among others...

Chalice is absolutely another must. Through the Breach, I guess.

1: Llanowar Elves - Seriously, if this is a draft of cool iconic cards, lets get some good commons in there
2: Lightning Bolt - See above
3: Mox Opal - If you aren't punting it out of the format, get more of them out there
4: Force of Will - Lots of people still need them and a blinking EMA is more expensive then the Alliances one
5: Tramsute Artifact - See the coolness of Mana Drain but with actual applications in Non-commander formats
6: Doubling Season - Sort the Commander players out
7: Engineered Explovsives - Simply, more volume is needed
8: Karn, Liberated - Same as EE
9: Utopia Sprawl - It's used all over the place and is silly price wise for a common
10: Zodiac Dragon - Selfish choice there. I just want it for Sneak Attack decks and the current cost is wack-a-doodles

oh yeah, definitely have lots of value cards (at rare, not always mythic) but not stuff that will make the speculators take it all before it ever gets to stores. nice big print run, but an emphasis on stuff from the old days that are expensive because there's none. Lorwyn block maybe?

I don't mean to be spiteful, Colt. I am (foolishly?) holding out for a slim hope that WotC addresses the RL this year. Seems lime the time to do it. I don't want to go into detail and derail your thread - but I am trying to be positive, not negative.


Also, I think think you were goading us by asking for exactly 10 cards! At least I didn't say P9 + Library.

Right now I'm kind of cursing myself for saying top 10 and not top 15 or something. There's just so many cards that it's insanely hard to just pick 10. That's what makes it fun, though.

1. Rishadan Port - I think it's quite likely given how iconic it was back when it was in standard as well as them reprinting basically every D&T staple lately.
