If Wizards is actually in the business of banning MTGO accounts based on non-in-game activities. Then this is a scary precedent. I am sure the EULA has these clauses but actually enforcing them is scary. I do not care about your opinion of a recent toxic individual that was banned, but the actions by WoTC is scary. This means we all can feel the burn for any reason.
If WoTC doesn't resolve this event in an open and reasonable way I will sell off my MTGO account cards and no longer be involved in future digital related content. This is sad, because I was looking forward to arena.
