I recently purchased a painland from Ebay (Brushland). When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it has a white border since the other two I bought were black bordered. I don't recall any Ice Age cards being white bordered and I checked on Gatherer to see what the other editions' artwork looked like - nothing matched.
Could anybody confirm or dispense with my suspicions?
Are counterfeiters even interested in $10 cards? A quick google search reveals that the Anthologies set had white bordered Brushlands with the Ice Age set symbol. It's probably not fake, but if the card was advertised as being from Ice Age you were either accidentally or intentionally mislead. The Ice Age version is $1 more expensive than the Anthologies version, if that makes a difference to you.
As BlazingRagnarok says, Anthologies is a reprint set which kept the original cards' set symbol, and had white borders. An Ice Age card reprinted in Anthologies (such as Brushland was) would appear to be a white-bordered Ice Age card.
