Smuggler's Copter - Art looks like Slave I (Boba Fett's ship), and name refers to Han Solo.
Skysovereign, Consul Ship - Art reminds me of a Star Destroyer, with the command tower replaced by buildings. In the Story, the Skysovereign comes to save Tezzeret from the Rebels, with Aether (laser) cannons aimed at the crowd.
Also, the Revolt on Kaladesh mirrors the Rebellion in Star Wars.
And the last thing is probably too far stretched, but don't you think that Tezzeret looks like Kiran Nalaar? The beard cut and face angles are almost the same. The hair are different, but that's something that can grow. Both are artificers. Could Nicol Bolas have saved Kiran and warped his mind to create false memories and Tezzeret's past? It could explain Tezzeret's obsession in Pia Nalaar and Chandra (like Vader's obsession for Luke). It would be fun to see Chandra have another face off with Tezzeret, and hear him say "No Chandra, I *am* your father."
U agree that there were probably a stack of Star Wars refs in kaladesh, but I think your theory on Koran/Tezzeret is excessively far-fetched, especially given how detailed Tezz's backstory already is...
I think this thread does not belong to the Rumor Mill. Anyway, I agree with you, specially about that Select for Inspection card. That's a Separatist droid, without any doubt.
So i wasn't the only one noticing the similarities.
In this analogy, Baral is Vader, Tezzeret is the Emperor (i know Bolas exists, but one, he is not here, two, he is probably powerful enough to be like a darkside manifestation itself or something)
The mages are the force users, either Dovin or Kambal is Tarkin, Heart of Kiran is the Falcon, and the Planar Bridge is essentially the Death Star's Planet-destroying laser, just with the possibility of opening the door to Phyrexia, on purpose or accidentally

I took up depression as a hobby, but playing Magic sometimes keeps me away from it....
