Platinum Emperion is my first thought. Maybe Transcendence (though that introduces another way to lose). Or you could just go with Platinum Angel so you don't lose the game. Maybe Soul Conduit to exchange your life total with an opponent when you get low enough.
Unfortunately, preventing the loss of life is not a common thing in Magic.
Phyrexian Unlife is another way to not lose for having 0 or less life. Though usually, the cards mentioned give enough card advantage to win before you lose, or they are removed before you can get too far ahead. If you get too close to 0 too often, just add a few life gain effects to your deck, preferably attached to something useful, like Kitchen Finks or Tendrils of Corruption.
This is mainly for EDH, so going from 30~ to 0 doesn't happen super quick with the above cards. But it can get out of control with Bob and some of those 8 mana auras.
Thanks for the replies. I think Plat Emperion is my best shot here, as it will prevent me from losing the life, while the rest just kind of stop me from losing at 0 life.

There are also effects that gain you life equal to life lost. Children of Korlis and Tainted Sigil come to mind. They're one-shot effects, but it isn't too hard to set up recursive loops with a small creature like children.
As long as you can keep a hand of 7+ cards (during your upkeep) , it will do the trick just fine to give you enough life each turn.
Otherwise heavy lifegain will make sure you stay healthy. Whip of Erebos is quite potent in that department as a mono black card.
As soon as you play white in addition to black, you get all the black/white Orzhov cards that drain life a lot and the Extort mechanic (which is also better in Multiplayer).
