Hey! Im a bit new to the game and i am so bad at making decks while my friends have played for awhile, so i was wondering if anyone knew about a deck setup not to expensive that i could buy?
My friends arent all advanced players but they have quite a lot more cards then me so i need a good deck to win battles against them!
If you could set up a list of cards i can buy them on tcgPlayer or cardkingdom
The big question still on the table here is: "which format?" Standard? Modern? Legacy? Pauper? You'll need to decide that first. Once you do, The Professor has a lot of deck tech videos for building inexpensive starter decks in various formats. For example, Standard Werewolves, Standard Vampires, Modern Elves, Modern Goblins.
You also should check out the TappedOut.net deck search, and search for "budget" in your chosen format.
I have an decent amount of experience in the game, it's just that i do not own the amount of cards i need to build a decent deck! i dont have any combos that go well with each other from the ones i've already built decks with
Im asking for a deck you know is good so i can just buy those exact cards instead of lots of booster boxes which gives me random cards + are alot more expensive to get a good deck with instead of just buying singles
Sorry about that, i thought i wrote that in my thread! We pretty much only play standard table magic, where we use normal rules and around 60 cards.
Standard as in "Standard", or standard as in "anything goes, use what you got"? Also, duels or multiplayer? If duels and anything goes, build Lantern Control. You see, there is a finite amount of fun to be gleaned from any game of Magic. Playing Lantern Control lets your opponent know that you love the game so deeply that you can't bear to spare one iota of that fun for anyone else.
On the other end of the spectrum, Tribal Boars. Other than Brindle Shoat and Adaptive Automaton, the deck is literally just a bunch of bulk commons and uncommons, seasoned to taste with the burn spells/combat tricks of your choice.

*Gasp* Let someone else decide on the cards and deck for you?!
Most players of the game take a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment in creating their own deck.
The task of building your deck might become more entertaining once you've had more experience playing the game as well, it depends on the person.
Consider starting with a tribal creature theme, say elves or goblins? Once you get the hang of building a deck you may see the things that make the
playing aspect enjoyable to you
EDIT: your local game store should have pre-constructed decks for you in any format as well.
Good luck!

Often people refer to casual "anything goes" magic like what your describing as "kitchen table magic" lol. I grew up on kitchen/lunch table magic lol.
I paid homage to my first deck I ever built by keeping it mostly intact... adding most of the P9 to it has certainly helped it out haha.
I'd suggest keeping your first deck you've ever built, if you still have it intact, don't tear it apart!
