Well my son did at least. Assemble the Doomsday Machine without the big Archenemy cards. On vacation and visited a Wal-Mart in Cody WY. Checked out the Magic section and saw lots of these $20 cubes, mostly with the usual Intro Deck junk and 2 boosters. My son says, "That's an Archenemy symbol." On a Dreamstone Hedron. Glad he got some cards he didn't have that were of reasonable value and play. Thought these were all but gone but I guess a little gem can be found every once in a while. Never hurts to check those cubes. I always wonder what else is out there in these repacks. Good luck in your searches.

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I check the Magic section whenever I go into a Target or Wal-Mart. Most of the time it's not worth the money, but I've found some amazing stuff. I don't bore you with the details, but you should definitely keep checking. I haven't seen one worth buying for years though, unfortunately.
On a related note, about a year or so ago, I found a few of these with Ghoulcaller's Bell as the face card, and it was shrink-wrapped with a white tab, unlike the normal red one that you see on things like Commander decks. If anyone bought one, I'd love to know what was in it.

That's a cool pickup. And you're right. I've heard about people finding really nice pickups in theirs, but I haven't found anything but junk in them. Plus, their price is going up, and they're putting less in the packages.

Yep they are getting harder to find. If anyone travels to an area of the country where Magic isn't played a lot, I'd suggest checking any of the big box stores there for a chance.
My son and I are still on a mission to find some of those Presstine Magic re-packs found at Dollar-Tree stores. The search can be half the fun at times.

We have some in the dollar trees where I live, but I haven't yet bought any, because I figure they're complete wastes of money. Could maybe be fun, but I'm kinda tight budgeted right now, so I figure better safe than wasteful.
The best repack cube I've found -- and the only one I've purchased -- included the Knights deck from Knights vs. Dragons (no Knight of the Reliquary, though) and an Archenemy deck. For the last few years, though, I've only seen Intro Decks.
My best non-LGS find was at the only Best Buy I've ever seen with a card game section. They had two new copies of Premium Deck Series: Graveborn for $6 each during a closeout sale.
I've bought a few of these for *****s and giggles, and it turned out to be a complete waste of money. A lot of the packs don't even have a rare; just worthless random commons / uncommons. I've heard of people in my area finding Jace, the Mind Sculptor in them though.
And that's why we are going to give it a shot. I drop a few bucks every now and again on the lottery, so a few bucks that I actually get some cards in return even if they are garbage won't kill me. Besides its a fun father/son activity and we get more fun out of opening garbage cards at times than we do the good stuff.
Its the rare diamond in the rough finds that keep me going. And I like to hear stories of others that have done the same.

I used to do loops of 20-30 Walmarts in a day hunting for these back when they were full of the original Commander decks and Scavenging Ooze was a $30 card. The best one I found had 3 Ooze decks in it.
Just wish I'd held onto all those Flusterstorms though

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):

Funny stuff. There are far worse addictions to have that's for sure.
I'm not quite that dedicated Annorax. I have a bit of the hoarder mentality though and don't let go of much any card I collect. But its nice, I will hand them on to my son someday and hopefully he can enjoy them and pass them along as well.

My 720 Peasant Cube
I'm pretty sure that's the Eldritch Onslaught Innistrad into deck. Sturmgeist and Charmbreaker Devils as the rares.
