So I've had this card for a good bit of time and I never really out much thought into it. However, today I was looking at my Wrath of God which is signed "HAMMER" Does anyone know who this guy is? It isn't the artist denoted on the card so I'm just curious.
P.s. I didn't now where to throw this topic so here it is
Black border but with the Pro Tour back? A run-in with a sharpie sometime with a previous owner.
Sounds like. Back in the day it used to be a thing, trying to alter the borders for specific reasons. Unlimited/Revised would get the sharpie treatment to make them look more like beta cards, non-tournament legal cards like this would get the sharpie so that they could be sleeved in hopes nobody would notice.

Colored sleeves were introduced around '97 or '98, right? That makes sense. Even moreso if *** was a promo card for the PT96 in The Duelist as a pack-in.
