You would think so, but unfortunately Wizards doesn't really follow any logical patterns. Logically, since they reprinted the enemy painlands in M15, orgins would have been perfect for allied painlands, but that didn't happen. But since orgins is the beginning of a new era of MTG maybe they'll restart the cycle, or not.
Probably not any time soon. The issue is that most of their names are specific to places on Dominaria. So if we go back there, it's likely. Barring that, we'll probably only see them in supplemental products.

The enemy painlands are mostly references as well, Yavimaya Coast, Llanowar Wastes, Shivan Reef, Caves of Koilos. Not really a valid argument imo.
Ummmm...yeah of course the enemy pain lands follow the same pattern. Do you think there would be a Shivan Reef on Innistrad, or even a place called Shiv? Karplusan Forest on Kamigawa? The answer is no. The core sets were the de facto outlet for reprints like this, and since they're gone, we won't see cards that directly reference those places in a Standard set unless we actually go back to the appropriate plane.

A return to Dominaria will eventually come. There we may get reprints of the painlands. If not, it will be a supplemental product. Either Conspiracy for colour fixing, Allied Commander decks, or some other supplemental we haven't seen yet.

I meant I don't think they're going to worry much about that at this point, or they'll make a new cycle with more genetic names, probably without the tapping for colorless mana so they're not functional reprints.

Allied color commander decks seem like the next likely place for them to go, and would be a good spot for those reprints.

The tapping for colorless is important, as they become much worse without it. More likely is that they'll switch to "T, Pay 1 life:" instead of having it deal damage.
It's possible. Maybe next set will have friendly painlands, and then a cycle of enemy fetch lands once the friendly ones are out. The current prices for enemy fetchlands is absurd.
The Enemy Painlands worked for Magic Origins because part of the set took place on Dominaria (Liliana Vess's home plane) so the naming convention worked. For Wizards to reprint the Allied Painlands, we need them to be in:
1.) A supplemental product. They could even be printed in Conspiracy 2 as many cards such as Pernicious Deed or Rout were reprinted referencing characters or events from other planes, so it doesn't have to be set on Fiora to make it into that set. The next best bet would be Commander decks.
2.) A new set on Dominaria, which isn't likely for a while. MaRo consistently says that Dominaria is problematic from a design standpoint.
3.) Functional reprint in a future set and that's probably the most likely scenario given they've been really focused on making new lands have generic names lately. They like having the Painlands in their kit, so we'll eventually get these. If this is the case we may be waiting a while though, as other land cycles are more in demand that can be reprinted in Standard or Masters sets.
I haven't seen Maro's writings, what's problematic about Dominaria from a design standpoint?
Basically, it's too big and too well-developed for modern set design. They like each world to be boiled down to a single theme that can easily be pitched in like five words or less. Theros is "ancient Greece world." Innistrad is "gothic horror world." Khans is "eastern world with time traveling." Ravnica is "the city of guilds." Maro has indicated this kind of shallowness is seen as a good thing by Wizards, because marketing trumps everything. And you just can't sum up Dominaria so easily because, well, look at all the places there. It has whole continents with different themes. The world design is just too deep. It's not easily marketable, so outside of a few passing mentions in Origins due to Liliana's backstory (which carefully avoided interacting with the Dominarian plot too much), they just don't want to work on it.
Put another way, the reason players love it is the reason Wizards hates it. They'll probably return eventually, if only due to player demand, but it's likely to be a very limited thing, kept to a single location (sort of like the Otaria plotline, or even worse, like the "plot" to Seventh Edition), and without any reference to the established plot (because they don't want to burden players with any more than basic established backstory).
Odyssey/Onslaught was a great pseudo mega block. 6 sets in a row built around a large continuous story was a great idea, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of reason the next tribal block was done in a similar fashion (Lorwyn/Shadowmoor blocks). A return to Otaria would be a great way to bring Dominaria into Modern (excluding Time Spiral block and Coldsnap which were both technically there). Plus the block name practically writes itself "Second Onslaught"!
As for enemy fetchlands I would really like to see them in Conspiracy 2, would help prices while not screwing standard up for another 6-12 mo.
Not unless we return to Dominaria. Although as others have said, a supplementary product might have them. It will be good to see them in the updated card frame and with the C mana symbol.

Or, how about we leave the colorless mana symbol with BFZ...
Yeah, as Teia stated, Dominaria is more complex than the one note simplicity of the other planes, which makes it feel more "alive" while also being hell to design around. The only plane we've been to that even approaches Dominaria's thematic variance is Alara, which wasn't as well received by fans as they'd hoped.
The problem is also that they want every new storyline to have a planar-wide problem that is so big only the planeswalker characters can solve the problems, and while that's great from a storytelling mode, its easier to stay focused in a homogeneous plane. Dominaria can't be planar wide without having Jamuura's Caribbean swamps, Keld's rugged mountain tribal feel, to the classic Llanowar elf feel. It's too heterogeneous to keep a consistent feel to the world, while having a problem big enough for their storytelling.
Plus, with all the crazy stuff that has happened, it's a pretty ****ed up place.
Well I hope they bring them back at some point anyway as I'd like to get a playset of each of them and right now they are starting to get a little expensive in Europe for my taste.

I always perceived Dominaria as being the default classic fantasy setting, as if it had been directly ported from D&D or something. If they need a plane-specific story for Dominaria, can't they always find some way to resurrect the whole Weatherlight thing that basically ran between Weatherlight (the set) and Apocalypse?

Is there any indication or logic to reprinting the Allied Painlands anytime soon?

I don't think anyone's saying that. Being able to sac it for a card is a lot different than tapping for colorless.
