I wish that they would do Legacy at the Pro Tour, rather than Modern. I don't think Legacy can be ruined in the same way by Pros working together like Modern can.

The problem with Modern pro tours, sans Oath of the Gatewatch Eldrazi winter was simply that 90% of the time none of the new cards from the set (or very few) would show up. The purpose of a pro-tour is to foster innovation around the new mechanics and cards, and show off the cards.
Disappointed to hear about this change. This last year was a fun Pro Tour to watch and really the first time I've ever had the desire to watch it streaming or on YouTube.
Yet they are printing more older cards like eternal masters and modern masters?
Doesn't make sense wizards!
