Hi just a simple question, I obtained foil delvers and I want to play them but am worried about damaging them in the process. Would they be damaged if they are in a perfect fit and I took them out and flipped them when necessary? If yes what would be the best work-around for this situation?

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
I recommend using checklist cards and having your delvers in a perfect fit + hardcase with your sideboard. That way, you get to show them off without the foil being obscured by the sleeve, and you're able to avoid dealing with forgetting to put them back in the right orientation before you move them to other zones.

This is the way to do it.
Normally flipping them will not damage them. But that's for the 98% of the time you get the flip right. The other 2% will do a small amount of damage that will be visible over time.
For this reason I would *kill* for a tournament-legal version of the Kamigawa-style flip proxy Delver I saw someone using once. They owned foil ones and still preferred to play with fakes that were easier to manipulate, replacing the proxies with checklist cards in tournaments.
Yes, that will damage them if done enough times. The choices are to either use a checklist card, or double sleeve your whole deck, so when you flip the delver, it never leaves the inner sleeve. Checklist cards are the easiest to use from my experience, constantly removing a double sleeved card can be quite a pain.

I have a friend who has foil delvers. He uses checklist cards in the deck, and puts the actual Delvers in lucite cases like this one. It is pretty hilarious because they take up 4 times as much table space as a normal one, and when they flip they Thump on the table.

That seems excessive for a $30 card.
You're missing the point.
Just use some clear penny sleeves or toploaders and put real non-foils in the deck.
Foils wear very quickly. SP foils are even allowed to have face wear its so common.

They key is to avoid the surface of the sleeve moving against the surface of the card. I use separate clear sleeves for non-foil flip cards like Huntmaster of the Fells just because it is not worth the risk of perpetually pulling them in and out of a sleeve (even double-sleeved).
Like others have suggested--use the checklist cards. It's why they're printed. Keep the delvers in a double-sided perfect fit and put it on top of the placeholder whenever it's on the battlefield. Seems straight-forward if you ask me.

Currently double sleeved so I would take it out (in its perfect fit) and flip it around.

I really dislike the deck cards, but all people i know do it with the "non-foil" pseudo card.
