I've just purchased a Magic Player Rewards Damnation and it was described as being played but always in a sleeve but it was in Mint condition. I received it today and upon inspecting the card it has a dirty great fold running from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. What I want to know am I entitled to be a little pissed of that it's in such condition. The pictures looked good and didn't show this damage.
Yeah, I would definitely contact the seller and attempt to reconcile the situation or get your money back. You absolutely should not be happy with the condition of the card as described, especially if it was not listed as such and if the pictures given were not an accurate representation of the card you received.

Thanks for the replies, I've managed to get photos, which was hard work trying to get the right angle to show the creases. They are worse than I first thought, with one running nearly the entire diagonal of the card and several others running parallel but not as long. Just working out how much of a refund I should ask for as I'd like to keep the card unless it is worthless.
Yeah, that's not quite mint condition. I don't blame you if you want to try and get your money back. If he said it was in mint condition and it's not, it's a fraudulent advertisement for damaged goods.
from the pictures, it looks like it could have happened during shipping. how was it shipped? soft pack or boxed? soft packs have a tendency to just get tossed around, and even with that bubble wrap on the inside it doesn't protect from things laying on them awkwardly. if it was a box it was definitely bent before shipping. just my 2 cents of thought, i used to unload packing trucks for ups, those soft packs are rubbish.
Yeah, I would probably send that back too. It's not NM, I wouldn't even call it MP because in that condition, I wouldn't even consider it playable in a sleeve.

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
ks for the advise, I'm currently trying to see if the card sorts itself out by putting it between some books and if it doesn't I have been offered £8 as a partial refund from the original £20.
Send it back and buy one thats in good condition. Seriously you are getting ripped off if you keep it. That card belongs in the garbage with that much damage.
I would ask for a greater refund, and if the seller won't budge then return the card and get a full refund.
That card is beyond a "bend" it looks quite clear that it has a crease in it. I would buy a card in that condition for no more than 25% of the NM price.

Sometimes you can "rescue" an otherwise dead card, especially foils can withstand some bending.
Just in case, if that will allready help.
