So i decieded i want to fill a big ultra pro binder (180 cards) with something terrible kinda as a joke and hand it to people as a joke trade binder. i've looked at doing 30 of each lace, all vizzerdrix or all storm crow, which i feel are all usual suspects for this kind of thing. ive price them all out to be between 27-35ish on tcg. ive also considered doing steamflogger boss or chimney imps but im also curious if there's anything else worth doing. im looking for something either super terrible like the laces, confusing or just a lot of text for no real ability or just funny in some way. im not looking to spend a lot but if its something worthwhile at least to me none of these cards are auctually worth while i will do it
Go with a card that does something unique in Magic at a mana cost that is at least conceivably playable (even if it is not a card that is in demand at all now). It's likely noone will ever find a use for the card, but someone might.
I'm sure someone did this back in Future Sight days with Daybreak Coronet.
Fasting. In my opinion, it's the worst card in magic. The effect is impossible to gain any benefit from. Having the option to draw or gain 2 would be one thing, but having to sacrifice it if you draw a card makes it completely useless. At least Sorrow's Path combos with Donate and ways of tapping your opponent's lands. Fasting is the only card I can legitimately say there is no good use for in any situation.

I don't recall LED ever being a bulk rare. It wasn't a money card when it was in print, but I don't recall it being garbage either. Enough people looked at it and said 'this has potential even if I don't see what to do with it'.
Edit: Tibalt actually does meet my suggestion earlier.... low mana cost, big effect, but needs synergies that do not already exist and may never be printed.
My best friend has 28 Tibalts. 8 Duel Decks, 4 pack foils, and 16 regular Tibalts. Every time we go to a new card store the guys behind the counter always have something to say.
I don't know why but this just seems absurdly funny to me. Page upon page.. I would not even tell people. Just watch randoms flip through, eventually smile, and put it back down all day long.
Really, a creature dedicated to changing a word on white enchantments, and then they get cumulative upkeep?
It's a classier way of saying "Target Circle of Protection becomes the color of your choice."
Yeah I know, and there were other white enchantments with similar effects at the time, like Blue Ward. The fact that it was printed basically just to customize your circles of protection doesn't make it any less silly.
Personally, 180 unique unplayable cards would be fun.
This is exactly what I was thinking. If you have a binder with 180 different cards, people will continue to look through it before they realize what is actually going on. If you have all of one card, you might get a chuckle, but the binder certainly won't be open very long. The more you can make it look like a real trade binder, the better the ruse.
Here's a few suggestions to get you started. While some of them may be almost playable, certainly you're not likely to come across someone looking for these.

Or if you collect the right cards, you might have the Last Laugh!
But be careful, if you choose the wrong card, you might end up getting a bunch of Savage Beatings.
