I am trying to build a Gerrymander deck (commander deck using only cards with the original, pre-8th edition borders) and I'm trying to find the best way to get a filter-able list of only and all the cards that were printed with this border. In Gatherer, the easiest way is to search for all cards not legal in the modern format, but that excludes some cards that are reprints from earlier sets. The other option is to individually add to the search criteria, all sets before 8th edition one at a time, which I also don't want to do (unless there's no other way).
I was wondering if anyone has a link for a search where you can filter by border style, or a search that makes it easy to do what I'm trying to do. Even if I could select multiple sets without having to click the drop down, pick one, wait for it to populate the search, drop down again, find another one, repeat, etc., that would be great.
On magiccards.info you can us "is:old" to show only cards in the original frame. Keep in mind, this won't show cards printed after the new frame that use the old frame, such as the judge promo Crucible of Worlds. You can also search by year, for example "year<=2003" will show only cards printed in 2003 or earlier.
