I own a foil 8th Ed. Mana leak that I picked up in a trade. How is this possible I thought the cores sets were white bordered ? Can someone explain? Thanks

Those use incorrect borders, for no discernible reason. 8th was white bordered in all languages, 9th was white bordered in all languages except Russian (first core set printing in a language was with black borders). Foils of all sets and all languages are black bordered.
