(Kill Reviews in specific)
If anyone is looking for casual reading and is interested in mtg history, this might be a good blog to read. I haven't heard of the writer before reading these, but it does seem pretty accurate for the periods of magic that I do remember. Should be a good history lesson for newer players/a nice trip down memory lane for older players.
Haha, thanks for writing. I enjoyed reading them and even learned a lot about the first 3 or 4 years of the game. More people should be doing these types of projects.
Just wanted to let you know that your Time Spiral review was fantastic. Easily your best of the series (which says a lot because I enjoyed them all). I feel the same way on a lot of points. Time Spiral, for me, was the peak of creative Magic design. It was the last time I bought a full booster box. I didn't care about value, it was dripping with nostalgia and I relished ripping open every booster pack. Future Sight was incredibly exciting and highlighted endless unexplored design space. Planar Chaos was the low point of the block, and I still liked the "what if" concept ten times more than what has been printed in the last few years. Time Spiral block didn't sell the best, but for the target audience, it WAS the best. It really is sad that it all comes down to what makes the most money. I hope the entire Wizards design team reads your review and realizes the error in their ways.
P.S. Your section on art was articulated beautifully. Keep writing!

Big Thanks to Xeno for sig art <3.
What you did there, I see it. The throwback made my day.

Cause holy God, your last paragraph defined me as a magic player, and I have to think there are more of us.

Totally agree with the author's thoughts on Time Spiral too.
