tl;dr - What MTG stuff do you carry, and what do you carry it in?
Typically, I carry a bit with me; I'm at my LGS most days out of the week. My single-sling Backpack, a leftover formw hen I was in high school, has grown insufficient for what I'd like to bring; it barely zips, and my binder will warp if its weight isn't rested properly.
My typical load includes...
1x Ultra Pro 3x3 Pro Binder
1x Monster Playmat Tube, with mat.
3x Ultra Pro Magnetic Flip Boxes
3x Ultra Pro Deck Boxes
2x Chessex Dice Sets, Cubes (36ct 6-pips and a set of 7 polyhedral dice)
1x Fat-Pack Box with 3x Dragonshield Boxes, pack of penny sleeves, and some toploaders. ...And on Saturdays I carry a Pathfinder book, box of pawns, dry-erase map and markers.
Truth be told, I was hoping to get some ideas of what you guys do. A cheaper bag that seems to fit my spacial needs is the ThinkGeek bag of holding, which should hold everything but my hardback PF book. Let me know what you guys carry!
I use a similar bag to Bag of Holding (which looks REALLY nice, thanks for the link!), except my wife got it for me at Aeropostale on clearance for $5.
I always carry:
1 Ultra Pro: Pro Binder
1 Playmat
1 Md. cardboard box of dice, extra/back-up sleeves and KMC perfect fits
2+ Dragon Shield plastic deckboxes (1 EDH deck per box)
2+ Pens
1 Md. top spiral notepad (opponents often forget anything to keep track of life totals)
All of this fits nicely in one compartment of the messenger bag

Carry my stuff in an Ultra-Pro bag I picked up at my LGS after trading in some cards for store credit. It's been pretty decent so far, though the shoulder-pad thing on the strap was annoying and starting to tear (crappy quality) so I just ripped it off. Also, there were a ton of dividers with the cardboard inside and I ripped out a few of them and colored over the areas with a sharpie to hide them. Way better now, fits more stuff. Inside I usually have:
5x Ultra Pro "Pro" Deck Box (The ones that can fit EDH decks), each one with a different EDH deck
2x Ultra Pro Deck 60 card Box (One is my standard deck, the other is usually a brew I'm messing around with)
1x Ultra Pro Magnetic Flip Box
1x 36 6-sided dice in a box
11x D20s
5x Toploaders, each with one of my commanders in them
And then I sometimes carry around a trade binder with me in my backpack, usually only when I go to LGS.
- Folder with trades.
- Playmat in tube.
- Five decks in deckboxes. Three are standard, one modern, one EDH.
- A water bottle.
- Pens and paper, even though I use my phone to keep track of life.
2-4 Legacy Decks
1 EDH Deck
2 Modern Decks
1 Box of extra Dragonshields and Perfect Fits in case of breakages
1 Monster Binder
1 Commander's Arsenal life counter
1 Box of Chessex D6 dice
3 Pens
1 Life Pad (spiral notepad)
1 Worldwake "Selective Memory" playmat
A small Hello-Kitty backpack, an Alara Reborn fat-pack (holding two EDH decks and a Modern deck, each in their own deck box), a Theros fat-pack (holding a dice bag with dice, a deck box with Standard/Modern trades inside, and a pack of penny sleeves), a playmat inside a tube, a journal and pencil, my inhaler, and a bottle or two of non-prescription pain meds.
* Assorted D&D dice
* Pointy Finger of Doom card (It's my lucky charm)
* 3 Commander 2013 boxes 2 EDH decks in each box
* A necklace box that has an EDH deck in it
* Scratch paper and pens. Not to keep life totals but because multiplayer magic spawns artistic inspiration for scribbles.
Normally, I just have my dice and my deckbox with tokens sitting in a pocket of my backpack. When I go to a tournament, I also have the deck I intend to play and my playmat in a tube. I never bring a trade binder unless I know there's a good chance I will be able to make a good trade. I also have paper and pens--I never use dice for life totals if there's anything on the line in the game--but I don't just use those for Magic.
At large events I'll sometimes have a few other decks for side events.

There are few men in this Parliament for whom I have greater respect than the leader of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation. I admire him in my heart, because time and again he has had the courage to say what lays on his conscience, regardless of what the world might think of him. A man of that calibre is an ornament to any Parliament.
I don't play decks. I solve optimization problems.
Currently solving:
Standard: Too poor for this format.
Modern: GW Auras, Living End, WB TurboFog, UB Mill, UR Storm
Legacy: R Burn, GU Infect, RG Lands, B Contamination
1 Binder with trades
1 Binder with Modern/Standard/Legacy Staples in case of a quick cardswitch just before a tournament
1 Binder with Modern/Standard/Legacy common staples
3 Fat Pack Boxes full of Modern/Legacy/Standard decks + a box of 100 Unhinged Lands for drafting. (Always draft in swag yo')
1 Fat Pack Box with Draft supplies, Sleeves, Tokens, and deckbox to hold the draft cards in.
4-5 Pads of paper from various GPs for life totals.
2 Pens
1 Monster Tube with caps on both sides, and an Ultra Pro Moxen Playmat
At the moment I carry all my magic stuff in the Bag of Holding from Think Geek, that think is amazing. I have taken it to a number of opens and grand prixs as well as GenCon and a couple other cons and it has performed amazingly.
My current list of Magic Stuff:
1x Monster Binder full of general trade stuff
1x Monster Binder full of my Trade Project
1x Leather fliptop deck box with Grimgrin EDH
1x L5R deck box with Isamaru EDH
2x Clear plastic deck boxes, one with sleeves for draft and one with Modern
1x plastic fliptop deck box I got from a GP with my Legacy deck
1x DragonChow Dicebag
1x Playmat, currently the Loading Ready Run Diagram mat.
Assorted pens and paper, depending on the event.
Standard cheap backpack. For FNM, the usual junk plus an extra legacy and modern deck for in between boring rounds of standard.
For bigger events:
- 1 small bag of dice.
- 1 notepad & pen.
- 1 Ultra Pro Pro Binder (high-end trade opportunities)
- 1 Playmat
- 1 deck for the format.
- 1 Bottle of water.
That's it. Nothing out of the ordinary. I'm hesistant to even take the trade binder most of the time. Don't take more with you than what you need. Less risk, less cost of replacement in the event that something happens.

Standard: I, for one, welcome our new rhinoceros overlords
Modern: Pod's dead, Bob's back.
Legacy: Lands, Deathblade, Death and Taxes, Elves, MUD
Retired Legacy: Merfolk, Goblins, Jund, Delver, Reanimator
In just a regular backpack:
- Large Magnetic Ultrapro DeckBox
- 1000c Card box: my "Eternal" box, containing all playables for my legacy, vintage and EDH deck(s) all double sleeved in the same way
- 2 Regular binders full of mostly junk I am too lazy to trade/sell off
- Playmat
- Crown Royal satchel for dice and stuff
- Pad of paper, many pens
Also, most important items of all:
- Waterbottle
- Snacks
The whole thing usually weighs like 20lbs+ which is kind of annoying after a long day. I should do something about the 2 near-useless binders.
For regular 'trade' days that don't involve any tournaments:
- A 4 pocket trade binder (this is very common here)
- 2 deck boxes (One standard, one commander)
- A small Ultra Pro snap-on case (can hold about 10 cards) for any cards that I acquire that I don't plan on reselling
When my buddies and I draft, I usually bring a fatpack box to carry the 2 decks and one deck box with sleeves.
For tournament days / bigger events:
- A 4 pocket trade binder
- 2 deck boxes (One containing the deck I'm playing and one with just sleeves - just in case of drafts)
- 3 6-sided dice, 2 20-sided die (in a small container)
- 2 pens and some pieces of paper
I take one of my old work backpacks and fill it with the following:
- Whatever deck I'm intending to play, in one of my many Legion plastic deck boxes. I try to match it with whatever deck it contains
- Couple other decks for between rounds. Typically Modern
- Playmat of choice, in a tube
- Deck box with the appropriate dice and tokens
- 2-3 bottles of Perrier water
- Pen and paper (Sign in Blood life pad) for keeping track of life and notes
- iPad (to pass the time inbetween rounds)
- Trade binder (not always, but I do sometimes)

I also use one of the Ultra-Pro bags. I love it. Since I don't maintain a trade collection anymore, it's perfect. I used an Exacto knife to cut out one of the cardboard dividers so I can fit one of the giant Ultra-Pro Pro Tower boxes for my flagship EDH deck. I also am able to fit four Ultra-Pro magnetic mana symbol deckboxes for my other EDH decks, and another deckbox for my Legacy deck. I still have room for a dice bag, two folded playmats, a few extra sleeves and a pad of paper, and my set of Planechase cards and a few extra cards in a Ziploc bag. I have a set of the Ravnica guild pins which I attached permanently to the bag's strap. Looks great!

1 event deck box filled with spindown dice and a chessex 36 ct dice thing ( always need dice)
