Innistrad block (Innistrad, Dark Ascension, Avacyn Restored) and Zendikar block (Zendikar, Worldwake, Rise of the Eldrazi) both had a decent amount of vampires.
Innistrad is very vampire tribal themed, but Zendikar has the most vampires you would want to splash into a deck given their abilities, like Vampire Nighthawk (still hate that card) and Gatekeeper of Malakir (turn 2, opponent plays a great creature, turn 3, you make him sac it).
Current Favorite Decks: Creatureless Bolas Control with Lethal Vapors, Green Enchantress/Kavu Lair card draw, and Shriekmaw/Mulldrifter/Dignitary Flicker.
Anyhow, the best I can come up with myself is a game in the top 8 of a PTQ back during Urza block in which we were starting game 3 with time already expired, so the tiebreaker rule was that whoever had more life after 3 turns would win. And I lost to... healing salve.

Innistrad had a tribal Vampire theme running through it, so that's my guess.

Which makes Taurean Mauler a great addition to something like say an "Olivia" commander deck.

Okay so I run the Guul Draz just for the art.
Even if you count Lorwyn's changelings (including the tribal spells), that's 26, so your response is still Innistrad.

And here's a link to all the cards with the word "vampire" in their texts which could affect, have protection from, or be affected by vampires:
