So I started playing magic only two weeks ago and love it and was wondering what is the best way to get your moneys worth from buying cards? What booster packs are more worth the money and is it better to buy event decks or intro decks or duel decks or fat packs. I just want to know to build a bigger collection which way is the best to buy for the money.
Since the correct answer has already been posted, I'll say that a Magic card weighs 0.064 oz, and Gold is currently trading for $1,312 USD, according to what I could find, meaning that any card worth $84 is as close as you'll get right now to being worth its weight in gold.
If your question is "What would a judge do is this situation?", only one person's answer is relevant, and that is the Head Judge at your event. I can quote the rules, but I don't know your HJ.

Singles is the cheapest way to go.
If you absolutely have toget packs, play limited instead.

Aside from buying singles what are some of the best packs to buy like if I want to not know what I am getting or do stores offer bulk packs that are better deals to get a massive amount and build a collection.
Gold is currently trading at about $1300 an ounce. A card weighs roughly 0.06 ounces, so it needs to be worth somewhere in the area of $80 to be worth its weight in gold.

Booster Box if you believe you have some luck.
I'm ok with buying single because I know that I have no luck.
This is absolutely correct and I regularly tell people the same.
