Most pimp? Well, for flavor text, I'd say snapping drake. For picture, form of the dragon (sarkhan Vol version). For all around effect, I couldn't say.
If you're wanting to chime in on your favorite cards in various categories, there are threads for favorite flavor text, art, etc. in Opinions & Polls. This thread is for discussing "pimped out" cards like foils, foreign, misprinted, etc.

"...because without beer, things do not seem to go as well."
I don't have as much pimp stuff as some of you guys, but I'm working on it!
I'm a hardcore mono white player, so I'm pretty proud of these. I'm the only one in my area with this many:
My EDH deck is where most of my pimping has gone. Of course, I can't find a foil Jhoira in ANY language to save my life:
Here's a couple that I got as an awesome Christmas present:
Made a decent trade for these a month or so ago:
Just picked this bad boy up, and I'm already in love with him.
This... this has a fun story behind it. I lost to Doran 3 out of 5 rounds at our local PTQ. The night before, it was Doran that knocked me out of the top 8 at FNM. When we drove to Conn. for a PTQ two weeks later, I lost to Doran AGAIN. I swore I'd burn the first foil or first playset I got my hands on, my friends didn't believe me. So I proved it. It may not be pimp in the strictest sense, but I'm proud of the fact that I lived up to saying I'd do it.
Scan of the back of 4 thorn of amethyst artist proofs. The back is sketched with an artwork similar to Nevermaker. I got 10 of thorn of amethyst proofs but only 4 are sketched.
Here are some non-power stuff I picked up recently. I have been busy, so the cards are housed in whatever I received them in.
The textless beebles is probably among my favourite cards, price notwithstanding.
The writing on the juggs are on the toploaders, and the sol ring is blur as it is in a screwdown. It looks much better in reality, I will rectify that in another scan/photo in the near future. Some other marks were made by scotch-tape etc on toploaders, like the marks on the island.
I have more of the above, and will scan them in time. Cheers.

Now collecting Beebles too!
PM me if you have access to anything that is of interest.
What are those Birds of Paradise, and Island? I don't recognize the set, not even a little.
Dude, that Island is ridiculous. Never seen that one. Very nice.
They're some sort of test-print card frame they played around with during...7th Edition? There's some floating around out there and they're quite rare/valuable.
Someone else here can explain it better. I just had to chime in on that Island.
Dang..
edit: WTF?!?! That's Parallax Tide art on that thing!
What are those Birds of Paradise, and Island? I don't recognize the set, not even a little.
Sorry if I sound like a loser...
Those were test prints of the foiling process before foil cards were implemented in Urza's Legacy. The fact that the foil bird uses the 7th edition art and not the 6th edition art is puzzling me, but I'm just going to assume they were either toying with changing the foiling process to the new cardface, or the art had already been comissioned at that point.
Nonwithstanding, that post is pretty darn pimped, and may be one of the better ones in this thread. Lotsa bling right there, heh.
EDIT: Actually, I think it was definitely the testing of new cardfaces and what they'd look like foiled. This was before 8th edition had been released, if I'm not mistaken, because that was the first set they had changed the cardface for. I'm glad they settled on the 8th edition cardface and not that one though, even though the birds and island look pretty schnazzy.

Hi. Don't worry about it at all. The Birds is a Judgment test print (normal front, white back) while the Island is a 8e foil test print. Unless I am mistaken, there was a discussion about that same island a while back on these boards too. This is the only other foil copy that I know of which is of the dark strain. It is white-backed too. Hope that helps.

What does a summer sol ring even go for? Gotta be like 2g's right?
Sorry fot the relative lack of content, but: That Island has the set symbol of Unglued!:o Haven't seen it mentioned yet... just for enlightenment. I knew they existed, but really, I agree that this is by far the most pimp pic in this thread (well, IMO). Congrats, Occam, that's sure worth thousands of dollars (or something quite grand... some of the rarest cards of Magic are there). Although I think they're not tournament legal (except for the Sol Ring).
How do you tell the difference between summer series and normal?
illus. copywright 1994 at bottom. Plus fourth edition sol rings don't exist, but that sol ring has a narrow, bevelled border and darker colors like fourth edition, meaning it's summer (basically edition 3.5). The 'naughts and 'geddon are summer as well. That picture is worth close to if not over eight grand.
Both the Birds of Paradise and Island are test prints made prior to the release of 8th edition while they were redesigning the card face. A dealer at GP San Francisco 2 years ago had a quite a few of them in the case, including a couple pain lands, more basics, and random spells.
Anyone have any idea what the foil no-text Urza's Destiny cards are worth? I recall a similar Gaea's Cradle going for around $3000 USD sometime ago on eBay, so I imagine those would be worth far less. Still impressive though, to say the least.

Well, the best way is to simply look for the artist credit and the illus date. Summer is the only edition with the large font artist credit and illus date (alpha to revised do not have illus date but have large artist credit, while 4th ed onwards have both, but in smaller font). The colours are also darker, imo closer to Unlimited than revised. This wiki link has a bit more info:

Yeah, the 8e test prints all have the double unglued symbol that they used to mimic an actual card set symbol and how it would look on that particular frame. Some of the others have P/T boxes as well, even though they are not creatures. The counterspell, for instance, has a P/T box that really shouldn't be there.
As far as tourney legality, the ring, geddon and juggs should be okay. The textless cards, if anyone would even want to play them, are screwed by their square borders, but they do have real backs.

Iirc, the island that was on ebay, along with a textless cradle, was obtained from that seller. That foil island was bought by someone from the libraries, and is in Europe now. Just for general info, each of the 8e test prints has a much smaller print run than any of the other test print sets, save 5th dawn. Only 2 foil + 2 nonfoil for each colour strain.
The UD cards are generally hard to predict, unlike the US ones. Those that I posted probably aren't worth much (few hundred in total I reckon, even though the beebles is priceless ), BUT at the higher end of the scale, there are textless masticores and bargains running around. I wouldn't want to put a price on those at all.

A group at this card shop that did mostly legacy and vintage games had a deck worth more than my car.
Full power 9, full signed dual land, forces, mana drains, library, bazaar, etc... There really was nothing he didn't have...even foil japanese brainstorms to boot.
Am I missing something? ... but I do believe there aren't any foil dual lands ...
I don't have pictures, my camera died a year ago...but I got a foil playset of artist signed 10th edition Birds of Paradise. Not all that impressive compared to some of this stuff, but they're pretty cool IMO.
4 severe Fallen Empires miscuts (incl a High Tide!)
Very bizarre Masques foil (how did that even happen? Not the first I've seen)
Random sketches, sinatures, plus a crimped swamp.
Closeup on swamp:
Darksteel/SoK ink blotches:
More sketches, Plains/Forest misprints.
Singed foil Harmonizes, Chinese alt art portal forest, really long card name etc
And lastly, I don't know what these are. They came out of a Ravnican precon this way. I posted scans at library and no one had any explanation or had ever seen this before... hopefully I'll have better luck here!

I dont know about the "most pimp pic", but its in the same league as gunslinga's survivals/city of traitors.
