Not really anything special, but these make me quite happy. Getting them here was quite the hassle too. First time I bought some, they got lost in the mail. And this time, they almost weren't delivered either because of trouble with UPS. And it's my favourite card too, so that was a real bummer.
Now, if only I could find a use for them in Modern.
Isn't there an Aggro Loam deck? Or some Pox variant?
Travis woo has been brewing some colorless prison deck, running Chalice of the Void, Crucible + Tec Edge/Ghost Quarter, Ensnaring Bridge + Bottled Cloister and Trinisphere. I think it runs Karn and maybe Ugin too.
Worked for about a year to complete this set. Tried to trade for them only to make it a slight challenge, but ended up buying the final one (T-Chinese).
Haven't worked to make a collection in awhile, but I really like this card.
The languages are:
Top Row:
German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese
English (center)
Bottom Row:
Japanese, Chinese (simplified), Russian, Chinese (traditional), Korean
That is awesome. You have to list the languages that they come in.

got the enlightened tutor as an xmas gift from a buddy and i've had the other two for quite some time. sent the blessing and strip mine to each artist for them alter. just finally being proactive and adding to the forum
Man this thread inspired me so much. Starting to foil out my Modern Pod deck. Additionally, I am challenging myself to finding any promos that these cards may have. It's been really fun, so far, but I've been putting off getting the REALLY expensive foils. Here's what I have so far.
Sorry for the poor picture. Can't figure out how to best photograph foils.

Strikezoneonline has one for sale on Ebay right now. You could also get Siege Rhino in the "release Promo."

Different cards show different colours better. I personally prefer silver, as it's really nice on most cards, altough white cards don't show the sig that well.
I do have a largish pile of D. Alexander Gregory cards signed in pink, which was his idea. All the arts had some pink on them, so the sig compliments arts pretty nicely. I would seriously suggest asking the artist which colours s/he prefers and if you seriously want a certain colour, bring the pen along (and check it's working.) Nothing as annoying as standing in line for an hour and having a dried gold pen along. New pens also leave a lot of (gold/silver) ink on the first few uses, so be prepared to let the cards dry for at least 15 minutes after signing.
As for durability, the metallic inks don't hold quite as well on cards, but this only matters if you take them out of sleeves repeatedly, play them unsleeved or in badly fitting sleeves. If you put them in perfect fits or similar and don't remove them from it, metallic inks are no problem. I have some old silver sigs that have been around a long time with no problems. I haven't tested what foiling does to the inks durability, but I think gRR!! will know.
After Christmas last year I started a new "project". It's one project I will never finish but it will keep me occupied for a very, very long time. Here is an example page (yes, including its 301 friends - Beta set 9x signed).
Current status: 1273 cards to go until it is finished ;-)

wow... and i thought my project was sort of big (atleast it is for me haha). Great stuff Markers! Btw a friend wanted to try something and bought a playset of foiled Fetchlands, Flooded Strandfrom khans. He's gonna send them to the artist so he'll sign them for him so he can later on sell it for profit.
What do you think he can get for a playset foiled Flooded Strand?
Anyway!
This is what i've gotten this week! It was tough to find these in sweden but i got lucky!
And i can tell you my small wallet isn't quite full for the month!
Now im missing 21 cards (i think) compared to markers 1273 lol
Nothing really new I am afraid from my side apart from the fact that I bought a new binder. A Deck Tutor binder...Speciality of it is that there are 4 card slots per row.
I converted my signed Dark Set into this setting.
What do you think?
I like the binder it safes a lot of space and collection looks gorgeous but I do have a couple of problems with it:
- Space for the cards: You only fit one card in a slot. And this card cannot be double sleeved. With 480 slots per binder that's a stretch. 1 mm more per card would do the trick
- Cards at the inner side of the Binder: I have a bad feeling about this not bending the cards. (My original thought was to put my Alpha set in there. I had to stop way too dangerous. Especially if you include the point above.
- Only 480 card slots...Cmon 600 would have been great
If you expect to complete a The Dark playset, why don't you leave spaces for the cards that you miss? The Dark has 119 different cards, so that binder is nearly perfect for 4 The Dark sets.
I have heard the 2.0 version is better, but I haven't seen it yet.

Nah, don't want to go into the signed playset thing for the Dark. I just had to arrange them like that since I cannot "stack" them anymore with this setup.
I might buy a 2.0 version...but they're quite pricy
Amazing! O_O
Awesome stuff! I also run 1 of each basicland in my Dakkon deck, not nearly expensive as yours but it's nice with some variation!
Who needs Colours?
My most played EDH deck:
X Kozilek, the Great Distortion
UBR Nekusar, the Mindrazer
I think it depends, it's the Judge/head judge that makes the call. But i can see why they wouldn't allow them.
