It's X'mas eve where I am right now. Merry X'mas to all
Double misprint Naughty/Nice. Both the seller and I assumed that only the date stamp was missing (which already makes it rare enough), but the text on "Naughty" is wrong as well. The actual text requires your opponent to shuffle, not you. That probably makes it quite a bit rarer/more expensive.

So while I can't bring the big guns out to play, I don't have test prints or power or anything on that caliber, I do have some unique, nice, mtg related stuffs, and a few unique cards and MTG related stuffs.
First up, a playset of Tempest Betty Page Dark Rituals, commissioned by by wife to Ken Meyer Jr for an Xmas present. They go in my Legacy Storm deck instead of being hidden away in my binder where no one can see them. Double sleeved, they make this deck's best play "Betty Page into Betty Page into Ad Nauseum....."
Next up, some stuff for people who like foreign cards. From left to right, top to bottom: Japanese Bribery, Japanese Foil Asceticism, Japanese Griselbrand, Japanese Elesh Norn, Korean foil Temporal Mastery, Japanese Gaea's Cradle, Japanese foil Chandra, Pyromaster. The double sleeves on foils really hinder their shininess is pics, but it's a small price to pay for keeping them in nice condition and stil be able to play with them if I like.
Shiny pretty things, a few judge foils, some foil fetches.....and a foil RK Post alter. I was fortunate enough to get to hang out with Mr. Post in Little Rock when he came to town for ComiConway. We went to a local bar and he did the Avatar of Woe with a silver sharpie in about five minutes because he's super cool like that. Really nice guy, very easy to approach and talk to, and appreciates the people who truly appreciate his work.
Here's some miscellaneous pimp. Beta Serra Angel....so pretty in black border, very nostalgic piece. Unlimited Underground Sea. Artist proof signed Path to Exile. BADLY miscut commander Sol Ring. The top of the next card is just visible at the bottom border, and if anyone can tell me what the symmetrical half circles on the bottom left and right borders are I'd like to know, those are actually printed on the card, but the picture might make them look like border dings. Nope, little white circles. Weird.
Up close of the Sol Ring
This is page 1 of an Angel collection. This one several unposted paged following it are all foils, but I posted this one to show off the RK post altered Lightning Angel
Here's some nice stuff. A few highlights of my Grand Arbiter Stax EDH deck, reserved for when people decide they want to be dicks. I built this deck to address people who complain about people who have competitive EDH decks that win too quickly because they're too lazy to pack a Krosan Grip or counterspell of some nature.
The islands are alpha/beta, the plains are Euroland (Scottish Highlands). The rest of the deck is fetches , sol lands, and brutal stax cards.
Featured here Mana Drain (not the prettiest, I know), NM English Tabernacle, NM Land Equilibrium, foil 6th Ed Enlightened Tutor, judge Mana Crypt, Foil Terminus, NM "Toundra" (FWB Tundra....the coloring on this is really nice compared to typical revised), and a NM UL Forcefield.
Lastly, I posted this previously, but it's been buried deep in this thread and some people may not have seen this one before. This is a print I bought a long time ago and had framed. It's signed and numbered (50/1000). The title of the piece is actually "Black Wing" but older players will recognize it as the art from Desolation Angel. By the way, it's a real bummer how much detail gets lost on a Magic card. This piece is pretty big, like 2'x3' or something and I've had it for about 10 years now. The frame looks really nice on it.
I've got some other neat stuff, but I should probably hold off on everything so I can continue to participate in ways other than lustfully gazing at foiled out vintage decks.

The spots on the Sol Ring are parts of white dots, that are used for guiding the cutting blade. Somebody who works for the printing industry can explain it better, but if you search for uncut sheets, you can see these marks on them in the intersections where the sheets are to be cut.
There's a very in-depth thread of how miscuts occur on MagicLibrarities, but I'm too lazy to look it up just now. But it's good reading, if one is interested in the details.
7th Edition foils are pretty. I just got faced with this dilemma
First MMa foil, 7th ed foil, 7th japanese altered City and DCI foil City.
I also have a 5th edition japanese City waiting for getting the full art treatment. For competitive events I usea playset of AN Cities.
The 7th ed foil was from a recent collection I bought. There were a few nice foils included.
Blue foils and some Rituals. Guest appearance of mystery card on top of the pic.
Some artifacts, the Chrome Mox is Japanese foil.
Some other neat foils. I was pretty happy to get the PR Wastelands last week. There was plenty of other cards also, but better save some for the future. (Hopefully 3.2. might be a good day to show some Judge foils I kept back.)
In the past year, I have really gained appreciation for Steve Argyle. I would have to say that he is one of my favorite artists and it doesn't hurt that I met him in person.
By the way, I just love going to this thread. I see things that I can dream of having if I hit the lotto.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I get on this thread and just search within it for posts containing "Occam" and "Tha Gunslinga."
Looks like I'll be adding "gRR!!" to that list. To that end, I'll put some more of my neat stuff up this weekend, but it's kind of like being really proud of your Corvette until the Exotic Car Convention of Italy decides to host its own show in your front yard.

Perfect timing for upping this thread. I was just about to go digging.
I like 1 mana staples:
This is a hypothetical situation. Which side would you pick, if those cards were the different sides of a trade? Bolts have no cutlines, but two of the StoPs do, if that matters to anybody.
I collect Bolts and propably should have bought a few more of these. Instead I decided I needed a playset of foil Japanese M10 Bolts more than 12 more of these.
I didn't want to wake my kids so I didn't dig for my foil Delvers, so another foil 1 mana blue card, that I like a lot.
For green my choice is Grizzly Bears and I think I have shown some of those already before and it's not really a 1 mana card. For black I don't have a card I really collect, unless I find some more cheap Stone-Throwing Devils. Alpha/Beta Dark Rituals really aren't that impressive, while they are 1 mana staples. I also dislike the Judge Ritual enough to not collect 9 of them.
What language is this Mind Over Matter? I think its cool so I thought I'd post it here.
I have no idea how rare or how much it is or what language it even is?
Could someone clue me in??

Holy *****, that's a Korean one. They are pretty rare since they only did one print run back then. Urza's Saga was the last set they printed cards in Korean until one of the more recent core sets. How much did you pay for it?

Agreed, Mischievous Quanar certainly would be a really nice foil.
I collect cards from Odyssey block, working on a theme for the legendaries (sorry for potato-cam):
And damn Occam, those MM misprint foils are niiice.
I'm currently having this problem:
Foil Japanese.

IMO, it's the JSS (DCI foil) City of Brass because it's the original art and old frame, plus it has a real quote from The Arabian Nights.
