Hey everyone. A few years ago, I had some trouble finding a Magic store in my country (Guatemala), so I'm posting the info here, as it might be useful for someone.
The main store here (organizes the Nationals) is called The Hideout (Yes, in English, and no, I'm not affiliated in any way with it; don't let my location fool you ;)). It's located at Century Plaza Mall near Avenida de Las Américas. They have a blog, so if you Google "hideout magic guatemala" you might as well find it. Hope it helps.
I will be in New Orleans from 3/13-3/19 and was wondering if anyone knows of a store which hosts EDH games. If so, please let me know as I'd love to embrace the chaos while I'm there. Thanks.
Hey guys, not really sure to post this, but I thought this would be the best place.
I'm in Sydney (Hurstville) and was looking for any clubs/players in the Hurstville/St George/Sutherland Shire area, I know theres a retailer in the CBD, but im looking for something closer to home.
Yeah, I was wondering if there were any players a little further south (St George/Hurstville/Sutherland Shire), even if its a small club or group of friends that wouldn't mind having a new player come along.
Dont want to travel for an hour and a half to play Magic :L
If you cant find any one to play with, something you could try is going to the shop where you buy your cards and asking the owner if you can put up a flyer with some contact details advertising that you play magic and that you would like to meet others that do. You could also leave room on the paper for other people to write in their names and contacts. I mean, if the store actually orders in magic boosters and the like then obviously your not the only person in the area that plays it.

Anybody from the Rochester, NY area know where a good shop is to get singles other than Millennium?
I know the most reasonable answer is to just get them online because you know that you'll get them and they're usually cheaper; however, I don't like to use my credit card for unecessary luxuries like Magic cards and I always like to support local shops. I do like Millennium and usually end up going there for most of my singles, but for some reason I don't like going there too often - can't really explain why. I feel like some of the employees are annoyed to see me come in - I usually like building casual rougue decks and I do ask for commons/uncommons which require them flipping through multiple binders/boxes. I've been to Boldo and I like that store and owner but his stuff has been picked through so much. I recently went to the new Pair-a-Dice over the weekend but they've got a very limited selection of singles and it's mostly Standard stuff. I haven't been to the the Park Ave comic shop or anyplace else - just curious if anybody has been anywhere else in the city or around the city (Batavia to Auburn down to Geneseo) that knows of a good place. For instance, I know there's a shop on Main Street in Mt. Morris called Dragon Snack games but I haven't been in there and just curious if anybody on here has and what they have to say about it - thanks.

If you're willing to drive to Buffalo you can go to Jester's Cap. Their collection of singles is great and they have most of the commons and uncommons you want. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Buffalo is also home to Collector's Inn and Adventure Cards and Comics, which is were I work on the weekends, and each has its own collection of singles but not as impressive a collection as Jester's. There are about half a dozen other Magic spots in Buffalo but they don't generally have singles.
hey magic players...im still kinda new but is there any good places to play mtg in corunna or owosso michigan? I live in owosso but go to corunna schools so either location. Im kinda tired of playing against 2 kids at school.

I plan to go to Mexico city for a weekend this month. I don´t have a standard deck with me. I do have an EDH deck. I would prefer to find an EDH game, but could draft. I am also looking for cards in Spanish. The 5 shops on the Wizards site which show FNM are listed below. I speak Spanish. Any advice?
Dark Side of the Moon CT
Arlequin Hobbies
Laberinto
TAO Games
Hyozan Shop
Solo Hyozan dice ellos draft, y los otros tienen FNM en un torneo estándar.
Hey! Im looking for players in the international falls MN, and/or Fort frances Ontario areas! I mostly play T2, and EDH, and im currently looking to set up some drafts, both regular and cube!
I'm new to China, specifically the Guangzhou city area, and my friend and I are looking for a place to play. We tried both addresses listed on the Wizards site and neither one of them worked out, one's apparently not real and the other seems to have closed its doors.
You live in Japan? If you live in Tokyo, do you know of any english-speaking groups or places to play?
I just moved here from Nara, and I dont really know the place too well. I got to play some EDH with hjerk and his friends back there, although I wish I could find more people who played standard.
I'm in Yokohama, and also looking around for some kind of local english scene; especially if there's people interested in trying to get serious about gauntletting and hitting bigger events, etc.
I've had to use my marginal Japanese to try to find tournaments, and it's been very limiting; talking to someone who knows the ins/outs would be sweet.
OP, could you add my name to the list for Yokohama, Japan?
My current interest by format is:
Limited > Legacy > Standard > EDH > Extended
but subject to change if I get a standard deck I actually enjoy piloting against JTMS decks without spending another 600-800$. It's just dumb that it's cheaper for me to build a top tier legacy deck than a standard deck.

Slingin' cardboard out of Yokohama, Japan. (if you're local and play EDH or want to test competitive, drop me a line!)
However, in today's culture of Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, and Twilight, where every song on the radio, every program on television and every site on the internet is just another monument to the pinnacle of human stupidity, it's certainly not the worst thing that people could be watching.

I'll be going to college at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL come this fall.
I was wondering if there are any on-campus playgroups and what are the best options for FNM/Prerelease in the Evanston area.
Thanks
