Hello again, i have another question and that is when will be the best time to get playsets of all the shocklands or if its even worth it, because i like to make investments in magic and it seems good to have a 4 set of all of them even if your not using them all. They are going to be in standard for another year and it seems to be a good idea, i would just like to know when you guys think they will be at their best price. Thanks for the help again
Right after Theros comes out, traditionally. Standard cards tend to be at their bottom when the new block starts, only to slowly rise over the next several months.
Yeah, after Dragon's Maze has been drafted for a while there will probably be the highest density of available Shock lands ever. Buy them up then because there probably won't be another chance like this any time soon.
I personally feel comfortable getting any shockland for under $10. If it's over $10 I'd wait and see if it drops to that level. I don't think they will get too much cheaper.

If that's your "casual," what on earth is required for "formal," a butler in livery shuffling the decks whilst a pianist plays Brahms in front of a tapestry?
I would say pick up any shocks you can for under $10. Once DGM comes out there will be even more shocks around, and once the meta re-establishes itself you may find some shocks worth less than others. They may also drop in price in the summer, as people attempt to get rid of their ISD block cards for decent value, so the number of players playing standard may drop, causing demand to drop also.
DO NOT wait until after Theros to obtain shocks. Before RTR was released, ISD dual lands were in the $3-7 range, as they weren't in as high of demand. Once Theros is released shocks are going to be in higher demand than they are now, and they will all cost more.
Work on obtaining your playsets of shocks between now and the end of summer.
the difference is that before RTR, nobody played innistrad duals because the best deck was Delver, and it played seachrome coast and Glacial Fortress. Sure, there were other decks (notably pod), but most decks didn't play playsets of innistrad shocks, and in general there was less demand.
Now that everybody is playing 3 colors, they're much more in demand.
Get what you need for decks now if you can't wait for the next block to come, but otherwise I would wait right before they rotate for the rest. There's going to be a metric crap ton of shocks in circulation so they will inevitably tank. Especially right before they rotate.

But there also was the fact that at that time, Scars of Mirrodin boosters were being opened significantly less. Seachrome Coast wasn't the only dual land from that set that was increasing dramatically in price in late 2011/early 2012. There was more to that increase than just the popularity of UW Delver.
It is true, though, that UW Delver is why Seachrome Coast increased the most.
Shocklands are already quite cheap, so I recently picked up a couple extra playsets of some RTR lands that I found at $7 apiece. After all, 28 per playset seems fair, and even if I don't use all of them in decks anytime soon, spares are always good to have and make good trade fodder. GTC shocklands are still hovering in the $12-16 range which is more than I'm willing to pay. Of the ten, steam vents seems to be the cheapest right now because Izzet isn't popular at the moment, so they can be found easily for $6. If you're paying more for them right now, I'd say you're paying too much. I've even bought some foil vents and tombs at $18-20 apiece because the prices seemed quite reasonable, and I also picked up a couple GTC foil shocks for $22-25 each because I wanted one of each and was particularly anxious to add a shiny sacred foundry and a shiny godless shrine to my Kaalia edh deck. Aside from the tombs, I haven't completed any other foil shock playsets just yet, but I'm only missing two of most, one fountain, one vents, and one crypt, so I'm confident I'll get there eventually.
Anyhow, the best I can come up with myself is a game in the top 8 of a PTQ back during Urza block in which we were starting game 3 with time already expired, so the tiebreaker rule was that whoever had more life after 3 turns would win. And I lost to... healing salve.

I hate the reserved list.
Mythic rares are fine.

Now that everybody is playing 3 colors, they're much more in demand.
Except that draft will be RTR, GTC, DGM, and all three sets have shocks, making it a very large impact actually.

Shocklands are pretty rare, with people getting maybe 3 a box.
I don't really see the 2 months(?) of dgm draft before m14 comes out really having much effect on the prices.
3 a box from DGM, but if you draft RTR-GTC-DMG, chances are higher with your RTR/GTC packs to open Shocks.
