I commissioned a playmat with them. A gift, with more to follow if it turns out well. I know, I know... small potatoes. I sent $43 via debit because they have to covert the art from JPG to PSD. I don't have PhotoShop.
Trouble is, I sent a few emails previous to suss out their ability to compensate for the 'darkening' effect of the playmat inks.
(I just now got a reply.)
What has been the general experience with this company's product quality? Good? I am considering commissioning more art, some really good BattleTech oriented stuff from Scroggins.
I personally wouldn't use them myself due to their international postage being $20, however, other than that I have yet to hear anything bad about them at all. If you search in here for custom playmats, they respond usually in the threads.
EDH, on the other hand, is more like a monster truck rally. It's more about the spectacle than the race, the games go long, and it's not usually clear who's in the lead until there's only one truck left.*
Single player EDH is like two guys smacking each other with pillows... until one of them pulls out a shotgun.
I use the Duels Of The Planeswalkers layout, though I'm right-handed and keep my deck and GY to the left. I dare you to ask me how tempting it is to hold flying creatures in a floating pattern over the table.

They have amazing quality mat. I personally own one and so does my brother.
*Just letting you know, converting a JPG to a PSD takes less than 10 seconds.
Whoa! off topic but I live in the same town as this dude and I am certain I have seen him numerous times. Totally hitting him up next time I see him and ordering a playmat.
Well, I commissioned the art and could have had a PSD file... but it clocked in at 110 megs. Hard to get it from England to here. The JPG was 10 megs, and I figure it's at 300 dpi and has enough information to make for a good image.
My hope is that they can lighten the art (it's kinda dark) to compensate for the printing process.
Being that it's currently 2013, there are plenty of ways to transfer large files over the Internet. Try services like Dropbox or another online host. It shouldn't be a problem provided that they have broadband Internet connection.
It's widely known that [EDH] is very broken. Building a superdeck is quite easy. So what defines you as a player is [...] how you show restraint and creativity while still remaining a competitive player and a good sport.
the only problem with urza is that he is an oldwalker, so its abilities would be like:
+3: remove up to ten target permanents from the play
-2: win the game
-8: kick your opponents in the face, then win the game
starting loyalty: 100
I bought one that was pretty good quality, plus you can save a few bucks with some minor Photoshop (or GIMP for an open source, free alternative) skills for any custom design. My only con is that they're a little thinner than other playmats I've seen and used, but I can let that slide for having my own custom design.

A player at my LGS just received a playmat from them and it's gorgeous. I don't think I could ever give up the playmats I've earned via tournaments for one, but I have yet to see bad quality from inked playmats.
I have one of their original designs and it is quite durable with nice graphics.

I really want to get a Ninja Turtles one made, but I'm afraid of copyright stuff. Should I be?
I got one made from a Mass Effect wallpaper image. I got in contact with a community representative for BioWare and explained the situation: it's for personal use, I'm not going to sell it, etc. He said it was fine if I used the image under those circumstances. Inked itself doesn't require proof, they just pass the liability on to you should you try to use something without permission.
If you're really worried, I would find a Nickelodeon "ask us" email, or even a specific legal issue contact if they have one, and do something similar.

Sometimes I hate when people charge for stupid stuff like this...
But as a Graphic Designer I would do the same thing.
Send me a note with a JPEG you want converted and I'll do it for free.
My hope is that they can lighten the art (it's kinda dark) to compensate for the printing process.
I guess we'll see...
