The most comical thing I ever came up with though HAS TO BE this deck. It was a BUG Retrace Loam deck that did some completely busted things with some otherwise terriblecards. Even somehow managed to work in BOTH Worm Harvest and Harvest Wurm. What's not to like?
Basically chain treasure hunt until you hit Tower+Infestation and make a horde of zombies. Ironically this can sneak up on players out of nowhere and steal matches in modern which is pretty funny for a deck with 50 basic lands. Just mulligan for treasure hunt, it's really that easy.

I played against this deck for the first time yesterday except swap Zombie Infestation with Lightning Storm. Pretty funny to watch is go off but any disruption kills it. Awesome concept tho.

I actually have basically this deck except swap Lightning Storm for Seismic Assault on MTGO's Planeswalker format. It can be surprisingly effective, especially considering Planeswalker is essentially a limited format and has no sideboards (or if they do, almost everyone does single games, rather than matches, so it's not relevant). In 2HG games, I act as the defensive line by repeatedly Shocking every creature the opposing team plays, while my teammate goes on the offensive.
As for other funny decks, I've got a Commander deck where 60 of the 100 cards are illustrated by Phil or Kaja Foglio. The 40 remaining cards are lands and the commander, because the Foglios only illustrated 2 different lands (Rainbow Vale and Mishra's Factory, both in the deck) and 2 legendary creatures (Orim, Samite Healer and Ramirez DePietro). Using one of their legends would severely restrict my colors (and thus my options for cards in the 99), both are pretty bad (although I ended up putting Orim in my 99), and both are in colors of decks I already have.
I built a legacy format Punishing Jund that included a Sarkhan Vol and 2 Thundermaw Hellkite. It was pretty fun, especially when you use the Duel Deck Knights vs Dragon Punishing Fire with Fire Covenant in place of Toxic Deluge.
I built a storyline deck around the Hyozan Reckoners: Toshiro Umezawa, Heartless Hidetsugu, Marrow-Gnawer, and Kiku, Night's Flower. I ran stuff like Sickening Shoal to make Marrow-Gnawer live. He's one of the heroes of the Kamigawa novels, alongside Toshi, Hidetsugu and Kiku. But his card doesn't really play well with them, hence the pitch spell.
I once built a surprisingly good deck built around Wordmail.
