I am having an issue with my binders right now. I have 1 for standard, and am not sure how I should present the rest of my cards. Should I separate Modern, EDH, Legacy, and Casual cards, or should I sort them by set, or color, or have different binders for each?

Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated

I personally use the same binder for all formats, keeping Standard cards in the front and non-Standard cards to the back. Each section has subsections for individual colors/artifacts/colorless/multicolored cards and lands are in the very back. You might opt to have separate binders.
I would advise keeping to two binders max unless you're completely out of room. Standard is the prevalent format, so many players will be looking for Standard cards only. It should have its own binder in this system. The other binder should contain all non-Standard cards, since not every player looking for older cards cares what particular format they're legal in and there's often a lot of cross-play of the same cards in eternal formats. Sometimes the card an EDH player is looking for is a staple in Legacy and you'll have to hand them multiple binders at once (always a bad idea unless you're trading in a very trusted group). It avoids hassle to keep to lower numbers.
