So, I have an ultra pro bag that I keep my decks in right now, but I'm really not happy with it and really haven't been from the start. Originally it had a foam insert to hold the deckboxes (The older version of this: http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=232122). That has since worn out and I replaced it by building a paperboard insert. If I can't find anything better I'm probably going to work on making another new insert for it out of a better material. Really I just wish I could find what I really want though.
Sadly, I've heard that Rook is no longer in business. I cannot begin to express how much this saddens me because I've loved their product line. When it comes to a real quality storage product, there's just no comparison. Most of my decks are in Rook Capsules and I think I'm going to have to order more of them from different retailers that have them still in stock before supplies run completely out to finish getting all of my decks into them.
I'm really not a fan of ultra-pro products. Everything they make just feels cheap. When it comes to their sleeves, they are cheap and don't last.
I think if I had to design something perfect, it would be similar size to my current Ultra Pro bag, but would preferably be a hardshell with a lock and a slot for a standard size binder. Does anyone know if anything like this exists? I haven't had any luck finding anything worthwhile to keep my cards in. Is there someplace that something like this could be custom made? How do you transport your decks?
The best kind of MTG bag you'll ever find will be a very nice back-pack. And at this point with recent MAJOR thefts in the MTG community, you should look for something that can lock or at least attach to you.
I use a smaller Swiss Army back pack that's usually used for small hikes. Tightening it up and clipping the chest strap makes running with a bag of a few decks easy and also helps keep something on me if someone tries to take it off me.
I have the Ultra Pro case and had too many decks for it to fit. I took out the foam insert all together and have three of the Deckbuilder Toolkit boxes that can carry 10-15 decks without an issue. I also have a slim binder that slides in the top pocket easily. However, this doesn't help the person with a massive binder. My collection is pretty streamlined though and I only keep the cards I use.

My collection is pretty big, but that's not really the problem for me. I would be fine with slimming down the stuff I carry to a slim binder if that was all it took, but then I'm into another cheap ultra-pro product. Regular binder pages are bad enough for having to replace. With the slim binders you have to replace the whole binder when it goes bad. The main thing I'm looking for here is that I want something more solid. I'm thinking I'm probably going to just end up buying a bunch of OSB to just build what I want.

Monster binders aren't bad at all. They're not as slim as the very slim 'portfolio' type binders, but they're of uniform thickness all across, unlike ring binders. I'd say they're around 2-3 of the 'thin' binders in thickness, and they do a very good job of keeping your cards safe.
Anyway. Personally I carry my decks in various boxes. I have 5 EDH decks, a stack of 80 something tokens, a YGO deck, a Standard deck, and usually something in the works for some format or another, as well as Planes/Schemes/Commanders.
I carry my tokens, Standard/whatever decks, and my YGO deck in my Dragon's Egg. The side pockets hold my dice and spindowns, the top compartment holds oversized cards and sleeves. The front holds MORE sleeves as well as Planar die, and the back little 'pocket' holds my wet-erase markers.
I also carry 2 Ion Double-Deck boxes, each one holding a double-sleeved Commander deck, and each of those double-deck boxes is held within a Fat Pack box that's got the Commander sleeved in a toploader, with spare sleeves to boot. I also carry 3 of the Ultra Pro/Ion mana-symbol deckboxes, each one with a Commander deck in it, single-sleeved. I carry a slim binder in my backpack, along with all of those, and the front of my bag holds 2-4 playmats.

Are you going to a FNM or to a Magic war? Mother of supplies...
I'm looking for a decent backpack too, the one i'm currently using is tearing my binder's edges apart I fit in a playmat and a chessex 36 dice box inside my Razer Megasoma case (wich is awesome by the way) and put it inside my standard bag with an ION deck box and a notepad. The bag gets too full when i stick my binder along.
If anyone has a good bag suggestion that can handle a ring binder, i'm all in.

Neither! I just grab my bag when I go to play Magic with my friends, since we tend to play for hours at a time and we play lots of different combinations of formats and stuff. I figure if I can fit all my stuff into my bag anyway, why bring just one deck? I keep a deathgrip on it at all times, and it has some good security features, so that's always nice.
I use a laptop bag, the main portion holds my deck boxes nicely (one large plain white box, and 2 fat pack boxes, or 4 fat pack boxes) and my nice as well.
I throw my binder in the pocket that would normally be used for... books I guess? It works out great. It also has two clasps on it and a zipper which keeps everything inside, and a satchel style strap which is comfortable, and pinstrips which are just cool.
I ended up making a wooding insert for my Ultra-Pro bag. Thought I'd share the picture. I also got the hardware and have a piece cut if I decide to use standalone, but I'd have to do some finishing work before I went that route. It's still a little rough on the outside. Fortunately the bag hides that well.
