What do you think is the strongest creature card ever made?

On another hand, what do you think is the strongest "enters the battlefeild" ability on a creature ever created? (name of card too please)

hermit druid essentially wins you the game for 2

goblin recruiter for its delicious "stack your deck"

those are both quite strong creatures, but i would say there are a lot stronger cards than that. I was thinking of cards like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, etc.

In terms of raw power Primordial Hydra grows exponentially. Simply being massive doesn't cut it for creatures in legacy though.

yeah primordial hydra isn't what i was looking for. raw power isn't enough. i used emrakul as an example cause he has raw power, with a multiple permanents killling (well sacrifice) ability.

In context with all other cards ever printed? Hermit Druid, as Stille Nacht said. Nothing is stronger than winning the game for you upon activation.

Sounds like you're looking for "fatties" I'd check the reanimator primer for a list of ~ comes into play effects.

Ah yes, in the battle between Emrakul versus Progenitus, even if Progenitus goes first, Emrakul wins.

In the meantime, Worldgorger Dragon is so good, it's banned in Legacy. It plus Animate Dead creates an infinite mana combo that can end in nearly any way you want. (The Vintage go-to is Oona, Queen of the Fae, for being an Animate Dead target, always requiring a finite amount of mana only, and dealing with Emrakul in those darn Oath of Druids decks.)

Awkward cmc aside, very very strong. (not as if Emrakul isn't awkward too!)

Protean Hulk should be in the running for this spot!
