Wanting to find a good podcast with humor and up to date news, while not focusing too too much on things like tournament standings, but instead things like card discussion/deck ideas. Any suggestions? There's a ton out there, and I'm sure a ton of duds.

Dear Optimists Pessimists and Realists,
While you were all arguing about the half glass of water... I drank it.
Honestly I think the genius that is podcasts hasn't really found a good home in MTG yet. Give it some time as it is currently the new hot thing... someone will make a good one eventually.

Right now I think they're all pretty lame.
Funnily enough I used to host and edit multiple podcasts, and think I could make a relatively entertaining one for MTG. However my knowledge of MTG isn't vast enough yet, nor is my desire to follow tournaments and deck raings.
Untapped is okay, but this week's I sat there rolling my eyes while they went on and on with side stories and in jokes. I appreciate that Podcasts are sort of MADE for that type of casual chit chat... but I guess that's why I prefer to make the time for a good video-blog instead... They edit to keep things to the point.
The Eh Team Podcast, featuring Magic the Gathering news, strategy, debates and deckbuilding, as well as some of the best and funniest insights into the game around
It's actually funny that I have been wondering the same thing myself.
I've recently been running into an exorbitant amount of free time at work (Well, not free time, but time where I'm free to listen to podcasts) and have been interested in following podcasts in general.
Is there a known "Master List" or something to that effect with a large number of podcasts around? And, if not, would anyone be willing to help me in grabbing all of them and making a thread dedicated to listing them all and categorizing them by interest (Casual, Commander, T2, Legacy, etc.)?
I like the format of podcasts and find it quite interesting. I have listened to most of the ones mentioned in this thread and am pretty happy with all of them, and was wondering if there were more out there (As I'm 1000% certain there are).

Would MTGCast.com not be this master list to podcasts? They basically have every single MTG podcast out there. Now, are they categorized in any fashion? I'm not sure. Going to the site, it's actually really hard to tell what the most popular podcasts are. If you are an MTG podcast newbie, it can be hard to see where to start.
I thank one of the posts above for plugging the Eh Team, a podcast which I am a part of. There's this new podcast that I helped developed called PTI which shamelessly rips off the Pardon the Interruption format. It's been getting very good reviews. If the Eh Team is not for you, maybe this is!

I honestly didn't know that. I just started looking for podcasts on my phone but haven't been able to go in-depth at looking at sites or anything. Thanks for that!

I'm part of the Nerdivores MTG cast, and sure enough, we talk about deck ideas and specifically two to three cards per episode that we think might be overlooked. We focus on rogue building, as well as FNM results with aforementioned rogue builds. If you're interested check out our site at www.Nerdivores.com or find us on itunes.

Check out www.Nerdivores.com for: podcasts, videos, decklists, articles, and more!
i've started listening to your podcast 2 episodes ago (don't know how many are there).
But the problem i get with other podcast is the length of it.
when i go to the gym i want to ear something, but episodes that last longer than 15min/20/30 are really hard to listen to - because i get a little bored after sometime earing the same thing.
but nice work.
Thanks a lot for checking us out! Generally we go a bit longer than your target, but I hope that in the future we can entertain you throughout. I don't really want to spam the thread here, so if you have any critiques then feel free to shoot me a pm on here, or the contact tab on my site. I do read them, and I also try my darndest to give listeners more of what they like, and less of what they don't.
Thanks again!

Since they weren't mentioned yet:
Limited Resources: http://lrcast.com/
for anything concerning Limited (with Marshal Sutcliffe and LSV)
and for constructed stuff
Constructed Resource: http://www.crcast.com/
Though they appear to be taking a hiatus at the moment, idk about that. (with Marshal Sutcliffe as well and Efro)
Episodes are more around 1-1.5h+, which is a lot more up my alley personally, but not so much for working out I guess. ^^
Still, it seemed weird to have a podcast thread without those being mentioned.

If you can cast a spell, you're doing well, If you can't, that's okay, too. It usually takes a few turns before you have enough mana to do anything. Meanwhile, you should figure out whether you need to discard (p.11). Then announce the end of your turn, and let your opponent have a go.
Dear Optimists Pessimists and Realists,

It does go into tournament results but they also talk about a lot more and it's specifically about Vintage and it's really good.
Right now I think they're all pretty lame.
Thx for the suggestion, I'll try it out.
