During much of last semester, I would listen to Pandora while playing on MTGO. I was drafting once while listening to a Basshunter-based station and a song came on called "Lucky" by Lucky Twice. I thought it was relevant to the situation and the song is excellent if you like dance music.
So that one has a particular Magic association for me.
It's widely known that [EDH] is very broken. Building a superdeck is quite easy. So what defines you as a player is [...] how you show restraint and creativity while still remaining a competitive player and a good sport.
the only problem with urza is that he is an oldwalker, so its abilities would be like:
+3: remove up to ten target permanents from the play
-2: win the game
-8: kick your opponents in the face, then win the game
starting loyalty: 100
i don't listen to music while playing IRL.
Modo i have to have music playing.
I do think it is a good idea to listen to music in between rounds to pass the time and let you treat the next match as a blank slate, especially after a rough loss.
I listen to trance/rap/good rock (arena/the edge type) when im playing. Not only does it get me pumped but it also distracts the hell out of the opponent, esp when im half-singing the lyrics.
I used to listen to music while drafting, through my MP3 player when i ended up attending a FNM or perhaps a prerelease just to prepare and draft and such, other then that heck no, i usually never listened to tunes, except when i had a bye or something.
Largest Magic tournament I go to are local FNM's and Pre-Release/Release/Game Days for the most part.
Usually I try not to listen to music on the way or at the tournament as I'm typically going over card info and different ideas on how to play against different decks. Otherwise I just listen to the radio.

I've just made a couple of really bad play mistakes (mostly misclicks) because of music so I've stopped doing it.
If it doesn't affect your play, go for it.

What song gets you excited or pumped for events?

I use this to pump myself up for anything.

This song tends to get me pretty pumped.
I'll listen to just about anything, but this is a good one.

UBGThe MimeoplasmUBG
This is typically one of the songs I put on my playlist when I get ready to grind in a MMO or if the game I'm playing tends to have cruddy music.
