Hello, I had a curious question. I was interested in buying some foreign mtg product, since it seems a cheap way to draft old product with some friends. However, I noticed that gatherer, and magiccards.info do not have chinese versions of these sets (Legions, Judgment, Darksteel) and was wondering, out of curiosity, if these sets were indeed manufactured in china, or if these are counterfeit/tournament-illegal sets.
Essentially, are these cards illegal in a sanctioned tournament?
I know darksteel does, but going back further, like Judgment, for example, Genesis does not have a chinese version, yet chinese sealed boxes of judgment are sold
Most sets after alternate languages were introduced, were released in some form of Chinese (S or T). The funny thing is, gatherer is not useful in this regard, while it does list some of the languages cards are found in, it doesn't list them all.
For example Angus Mackenzie from legends doesn't list any foreign languages listed in gatherer, but legends was printed in at least Italian.
As a confirmation, SSG lists (T)Chinese Legions and Judgement cards, considering the company's size, you would think they wouldn't list obvious fakes like that.

You will find all the language available for each set.
