For the first one - Fetal could be intentional, implying that the creature is childlike or incompletely developed. Of course, feral would also work. For the second one, I'm not sure what you think is a mistake? It means that the only freedom he has remaining is the freedom to rage. It's just worded in an unusual way.

i believe the problem with graven is it should say
There's not much Fridge Brilliance there... Although it is probably my favorite in the long tradition of condescending counterspell flavor texts.
Ertai's quote from the Tempest version is clearly superior. Saying Jace's is better is like saying a Chandra flavour text is better than a Jaya Ballard one, which is clearly untrue (especially with Incinerate... dear lord Chandra's makes me sad).

You're only slightly exaggerating. The difference between preferring Jace to Ertai and preferring Chandra to Jaya Ballard is the difference between heresy and blasphemy.
For my money, the best flavor text has always been Goblin. Goblin Razerunners: "Finding themselves in a new and unexplored world, they promptly set it on fire" Dragon's Herald: "The penultimate step of the ritual is to bathe in a delicious glaze" Dragon Appeasement: "Look there-they carry that one upon a sedan chair. It must be their leader. Wait . . . Oh! Perhaps not."
I am also partial to a few more serious cards. Obliterate:"For his family, Barrin made a funeral pyre of Tolaria."

Those are good (I especially like Dragon Appeasement.) My problem with goblin flavor text is how often it just turns into "Goblins are dumb. Har har har." without actually saying anything particularly interesting or funny.
The original Fountain of Youth had some really cool flavor text: "The Fountain had stood in the town square for centuries, but only the pigeons knew its secret." Makes you think, doesn't it?
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Jeez, anything with Jace, Chandra or any other weakwalker's sentence is automatically bad.
The difference in attitude between the sheer cockiness of Jaya versus the sheer cockiness of Jace is that Jaya tends to be clever, and she revels in the sheer cheesiness of it all. What's worse, Chandra gets played like Jaya, only completely straight, and the lack of self-awareness is what kills her (if I may sound completely nerdy for a moment, this is the same reason why people like Deadpool but don't like most other 90s anti-heroes anymore).
Thats so bad *facepalm*

No, omitting the "to" is correct, if somewhat archaic, grammar.

Crucible of Worlds is pretty clever. I really like Double Negative as well.
It's not exactly what the OP was looking for, but Werebear is a classic. Same goes for Fodder Cannon, Magma Mine, Obliterate, and Reparations.

Plus she gets an Un- card.
