I'm going to be opening my own CCG Online Store as my initial foundation to opening my Comic & Cards shop - yay me right?
I've owned a business before, and I didn't do so well but I was young and didn't have a business plan or any startup capital, so this time around I think I have a lot of experience to go for it.
Anyways!
I need to come up with a good name, something not limiting me to magic as I plan to sell all CCG's along with comics and games, etc. But cards WILL be the major focus as it's what I know best
Friends and I came up with a couple names but I don't know if I like them ENOUGH.
I'd appreciate any help - please don't suggest names that already exist or are crappy, lol.
We thought of:
Fast-Effect.com
Scoop-Phase.com
LegendaryCCG.com
That's it, I know its not much so I hope for help!
Thanks in advance!

Am I making a mistake by calling it anything with "CARD" or "CCG", though?
Obviously the store will sell things besides cards and I don't want to limit myself, I've done this before.

Well I vote you name the place SnoopDogAtog, but I doubt that will fly well. Try to keep the name not 100% magic oriented so it dosen't sound stupid if you sell other products.

HMM? I like legendaryCCG.com but what do you think of:
For-The-WinCCG.com
or FTWCCG.com

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!

If your target audience is CCG players, have a card-based name. If you want to market to everyone equally, go with something like www.Fantasyfantasyfantasy.com
Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^
In my opinion, it depends on your audience. If you're marketing to the more casual "collectors" audience rather than the hardcore "players", then you need a more generic and simple name - "LegendaryHobbies" works, but it might be too long - try maybe "LegendHobbies"? If you're marketing to the hardcore players, then you might be able to go with a more obscure, possibly less family-oriented name - www.cardboardcrack.com is a good example - don't use that, though. Or you could try a Magic reference - although I can't think of any that would work right now.

This is my thoughts exactly. Even though LegendaryHobbies may sound good to some (not particularly to me) it does seem a little long. But then again some of the sites I visit have names that long or longer, so it may have little to no affect.
I can't really think of a good name to throw in the mix right now, but make sure what you choose will sound good to the majority of your audience and actually makes since. (i.e. - LegendaryHobbies: What is so legendary? the hobbies? the stuff you sell?)
If I come up with some names I'll be sure to come back and post some up. How long you have before you are going to be deciding on a name?

I would add more content to this post but I felt the name was good enough. No real explaining for it.
