Honestly.
Six days ago I made the honest order of three boxes of 5th dawn in S-Chinese. But no, I decided to pay no attention and accidentally ordered saviors, a more expensive set. I offered one minute after ordering to let them keep the difference and called right after the e-mail was sent. Someone in a bad mood put me on hold for a half hour and I was sent to a message machine.
Not lying.
So, I get an e-mail back four hours later saying that the item's already packed or shipped. He doesn't state which, and he's almost cryptic about it. I send him an e-mail asking which boxes I will receive just to confirm, and I get this pile of nonsense two days later:
Orders are processed almost immediately after payment, pulled and ready
to ship in a very quick matter. By the time you had even called, your
purchase was not able to be switched. Yes, you sent it in a timely
matter, but bid, checked out, and paid for an auction - completing that
transaction.
Five minutes before this, I get a statement that the item had JUST SHIPPED. Not the two days ago that he implied. So he had two days to change the boxes, but, despite having multiple people working around the clock and being able to make a customer happy with a single e-mail to his co-workers, he doesn't. I tell him that, even though it's too late now, that this is horrible customer service, and that he shouldn't have his job if he can't at least answer his phone when he sees a customer on hold for a half hour. Or, for that matter, switch an order within forty-eight hours. I also state that I have been buying at DACW all my life, and don't plan there again. All true.
He accuses me of lying about how long I've been on hold.
Not joking.
Just for the record, I was telling the truth. But even if someone else lied about that, you do NOT accuse a customer who has spent hundreds at your company of lying. You just don't. He also made the claim that the shipping confirm meant nothing, implying that it had been shipped the day I paid. I state in my next email that he should be apologetic about this, and he says "I apologize for shipping out your order in a timely fashion".
I stop e-mailing him and two days later I get an e-mail from UPS.
They just received the package.
Yep, he didn't just wait 2 days to ship out my order. He waited 4 and sent out a false shipping confirmation. He had four days to switch around this order, didn't, and was insanely rude. Allow me to say something; I have shipped out many large pairs of skis that are impossible to transport, and I don't think I have ever waited that long to ship something out.

Rant over.
I've had problems with DACW in the past also, whether them taking a long time to ship or sending the wrong items. The store I work for has a wholesale account with them and never has a problem, though they order sports cards instead of MTG from DA. I guess the only thing you can do is start placing orders with someone else.
