I'm just doing the Dimir deck unlocks and I'm quite surprised by the strength of the deck. I mean, 4 instant speed removal, 4 moroi from the head start ? I dunno, i feel like most of the upgrades are kind weak compared to the initial content.
What cards are you guys moving out and what unlocked cards are you guys moving in ?
I'm moving illusory armor and adding stuff like Sleep and the bombs like Mindleech Mass.
I didn't play with themindleech mass because of the mana requirement and eventually I removed the morroii for other things. I also didn't play with any of the auras, the thought scours, the six mana 2/2s that put a dude on top of your opponent's library. Some of the sleeper hits of the deck are the dinrova horror, if you are playing discard-control, because his cip effect is basically a kill spell then. I was always happy to draw consult the necrosages and necropolis regentas a finisher. Good grief. What a beat down that thing can deliver! Lobotomy chased out the morroii for good because by the time I hit four mana, my opponent was down to three or four good cards in his hand. All the rats were solid for me for discard and chump blocking. The guildmages are rock solid if you get mana flooded.
Obviously, I preferred more of a control build over a tempo build. Even though most of the unlocks are garbage, I liked playing with this deck the most so far.
