So with the latest magic update for my trusty old LackeyCCG, my not-so-trusty old computer had a fit.
I tried Cockatrice for Mac, thinking that was my best bet. But no go. Is there any magic sim. program that will work with Mac OS 10.4.11 with intel processor?
Thank Yuh

That version is old enough that I'm pretty sure your only real option is dual booting Windows 7 via Bootcamp. You might be able to get Parallels running Cockatrice, if Parallels is still a thing, but Bootcamp is going to be the best way to get MTGO or Cockatrice running.

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
Are you able to upgrade to a newer OS X version? If you don't mind, what model Mac is it? I might have another idea, a screenshot of the expanded About This Mac window would help me determine if this would be an option for you.

I have considered upgrading my OS, however I hear so many stories about this slowing down ppls computers to an unbearable slowness.
Another option: LackeyCCG still works for me (well, for solitaire at least), its just the lasted magic plugin that makes the program crash. Does anyone know if/how I can get an older plugin (without the latest set)? I'm no computer expert but it seems like a problem b/c the plugin url (http://www.siegescg.com/magicthegathering/high/updatelist.txt) never changes... even when there is a new plugin. It seems to just redirect to the newest version. If there is a way around this, say, another plugin, not from angelfire, please let me know! Thanks.
I'm pretty sure a core duo will run OSX 10.6. You should get it. You can confirm this by googling around apple's website.
10.4 is far slower than anything newer than it.
Also you need more RAM. I'm surprised your computer isn't laggy already. I pumped 2007 White Macbook up to 4 gigs and it works perfectly on 10.6. But it's slightly newer than yours (core 2 duo).
