it's not an end-to-end solution, so after the draft you would have to import the cards into eg cockatrice. decks can be downloaded in .dec and .cod format. deck hashes are generated for cockatrice.
Really surprised there aren't more posts on this, thank you very much for the site it's pretty great and a definite improvement on ccg lagwise. If you're somehow unaware, this site's become all the rage on cockatrice lol.
I really do want to use this site but every time I do It shows an error, I have used 3 different browsers all up to date and each shows a different error.
yeah sorry the site uses websockets which are apparently quite finicky, requiring a modern browser *and* a good network - test it here. i'm planning on using engine.io to support people who cannot into websockets, but at the moment i find that project also very finicky
@gomletx
i first announced the site through cockatrice, and am aware :). actually i'm wondering what other communities exist that i should be advertising on. just made a thread on magic-league
I dont know why, but I always have problem with the top part of the page. Where you supposed to put in your name and it shows you your timer & how many packs are waiting.
That part always just not show up for me. And the page just seems to stuck with that part missing. And the draft cant continue. I usually just keep pressing refresh. It just randomly works again after A LOT of refreshes.
check if you can use web sockets - http://www.websocket.org/echo.html. you must be able to receive echoes back over unsecured (ws, not wss)
open up your error console (chrome: ctrl+shift+j), and look for errors
i plan to solve the websocket issues this week by finally using a fallback library
Its the same with either firefox or chrome.
When doing the echo test, wss was successful each time. ws echos will just not echo back but randomly will on certain tries.
Nothing in error console when it work or when it fails.
"In some environments the WebSocket connection may fail due to intermediary firewalls, proxies, routers, etc. In that case take advantage of WebSocket's secure capability and check Use secure WebSocket (TLS). Even if you have no issues you can still feel free to test using a secure connection."
I think that just moving over to wss will solve the problem.
bots have no ai, they just pick a random card. i created a github issue for bot ai, data mining, machine learning, but i have no experience with any of those fields, so ai won't happen any time soon
i went ahead and got a free ssl cert, am in the process of setting it up with my host (nodejitsu)
Is there a solution for my friend who is unable to use the site, says when he is attempting to join my draft queue that all he sees is brackets and nothing else on all his browsers
that's a known bug with no solution; i will try to fix it this week. my host only allows ssl for people with business plans, so that attempt didn't work
This site is really awesome. Been drafting using cockatrice so much more now that I don't have to use ccgdecks, because that site was really bad. Only suggestion is to be able to sort the sealed pools by rarity, but other than that it is great work that you have done.
Sorting by rarity lets you find your bombs easier, powerful mythics/rares/uncommons can be an important consideration when deciding what colors to use.
hi, i made a new site b/c i thought i could do better than ccg / to
edit: i should mention that draft q's are private; you must share the link to get people to join
edit2: drafts.in -> draft.wtf
