Creature-Shapeshifter Mythic Rare
Imprint-At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top 2 cards of your library
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a card exiled with CARDNAME into your graveyard. CARDNAME becomes a copy of that card until the beginning of your next upkeep.

I want the shift to be instantaneous between the 2 copies, but how would that work if they both take place at the beginning of your upkeep?

The part of this that says "gain this ability" does not apply to the imprint ability. More cards will never be exiled if this is the case.
Yes, I want to use imprint. Imprint can exile cards from hands, the battlefield, and from graveyards. Why shouldn't it be able to exile cards from libraries as well? Thank you for your help.
Imprint exiles a card, then uses information about that card. This isn't using information from those cards until after they are no longer exiled by it so it doesn't feel like imprint.
It would need some sort of limit on the copying because it can't become a copy of an instant or sorcery card. Something like "If you put a [creature/permanent] card into a graveyard this way..."

Man, I had to read this a whole ten times before I knew what you meant by '2 copies'. Is that a durr for me? There is wording technology for this. Suppress. However I must agree that this is not an imprint card. Here is the text:
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top two cards of your library, then put a card exiled with CARDNAME into your graveyard. Until the draw step of your next turn, CARDNAME becomes a copy of that card and gains this ability.
I propose reworking the ability to involve the actual draw on the draw step, as it might make the ability more compact. In that direction,, likely, also is a functionality to prevent the combo which this wording introduced to your card, being to skip the draw step.
Other flavours of fix I can think of don't really work. There's no way to wait for the card to put the exiled cards into the graveyard, as the duration of an effect. To do that you'd have to make it up, I don't think another card has done it:
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top two cards of your library, then put a card exiled with CARDNAME into your graveyard. CARDNAME becomes a copy of that card until you put a card exiled with CARDNAME into a graveyard, and gains this ability.
This doesn't work because there's no such thing as the action shown in that duration. All apparent instances of that terminology are crypto-sentences for an action only well-defined in a self-referential way, but this duration can't refer to itself.
I suppose you could imitate the flamekin creatures, but I'm convinced those don't work and it will eventually be proven when Magic gets complex enough:
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top two cards of your library, then put a card exiled with CARDNAME into your graveyard. CARDNAME becomes a copy of that card until the next time this ability resolves, and gains this ability.

If you want it flavorfully to match imprint, you could switch around what is being put into the graveyard like Mimic Vat.
5? Artifact Imprint -- At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top two cards of your library. Then choose a permanent card exiled with CARDNAME and put the rest into their owners' graveyards. For as long as that card remains exiled, CARDNAME becomes a copy of that card and gains this ability.

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
