Volcariax, the Hoarder4RR
Legendary Creature - Dragon (M)
As an additional cost to cast this spell, for each opponent, you may chose an artifact you control and have that player gain control of that artifact. This spell costs 2 less to cast for each artifact chosen this way.
Defender, Flying
~ may attack players who control permanents you own as though it didn't have defender.
Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, gain control of target permanent that player controls but you own. Volcariax, knows what belongs to him and guards it absolutely. The only thing more foolish than trying to steal his treasure would be to succeed.
5/5
The Gate of Nyx3WWW
Legendary Enchantment Creature - Wall (MR)
Defender
You cannot lose the game and your opponents cannot win the game.
Other untapped creatures you control are indestructible.
0/8
I really feel like with this being The gate of Nyx, that this should care about enchantments. But overall you nailed this feeling like both an enchantment and a creature.
Wall of Desperation1W
Creature - Elemental Wall (U)
Defender
As long as you have 5 or less life, Wall of Desperation can block any number of creatures.
0/5
Fateful Hour wall! nice last ditch effort to stay in the game against wide decks and maybe some janky Fight to the Death combo piece. Overall a clean uncommon.
Scramble Barrier1UR
Creature - Wall (U)
Defender T: Remove Scramble Barrier from combat. Creatures it was blocking that hadn't become blocked by another creature this combat become unblocked, then it blocks target attacking creature. (This ability works on creatures that can't be blocked.)
2/4
Balduvian Warlord wall is cool! I wish you would have kept the non-targeting blocking because it kinda weird this thing can't switch to
creature with hexproof, I also think this still needs the "Activate this ability only during the declare blockers step." text. I could easily see this as an Izzet card with a Weird Wall typeline.
Crumbling Barricade3
Artifact Creature - Wall (Uncommon)
Defender
Whenever Crumbling Barricade blocks, destroy it at the end of combat. "It might not hold for long, but it can sure bury our opponents under it!"
- Akiri, Line-Slinger
5/5
Bigger artifact Cinder Wall. Flavor text is good, costing is fine, but nothing innovative here.
Chazaqiel, Angel of Fog1UG
Legendary Creature - Angel (M)
Flying, Defender
Whenever Chazaqiel blocks a creature put a fog counter on that creature.
Creatures with a fog counter prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt.
1/4
The last line of text is all out of order, I think you were looking for "Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt by each creature with a fog counter on it." I'm also really confused by this having 1 power.
Sorin, Encased in StoneWB
Legendary Creature - Vampire Wall (M)
Defender
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a doom counter on Sorin, Encased in Stone.
Sorin's power is equal to the number of doom counters on it. t, Remove five doom counters from Sorin and sacrifice it: Search your library for Sorin planeswalker card and put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
*/5
This is some interesting design space, but I feel like the search cut you off from what could have been a really cool flip-walker
A fine counterpart to Crumbling Colossus, just not telling me anything new.
I assume you mean "Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt by creatures with fog counters on them." That's a pretty cool ability but it's kind of oppressive at that cost and will make the game soooo slow as their creatures can chump forever, making it harder for you to win as well. Maybe if there were some way (mana or time) to get rid of the counters, it could be a neat tempo thing.
Haha. I'm not sure exactly why he gets more doomful though - maybe like tracking damage to bust him free would have made more sense.
This is a decent mechanical concept but I think there are a lot of small things you could have done to improve it, like making the total p/t the same (0/4 to 2/2 for example). The name doesn't tell me what is actually going on and it doesn't have modular. I think people will be confused about if it still has defender (it does).
The flavor here is pretty wacky but fun to envision the masked attacker disappearing into a bunch of flying knives. Great way to get around defender just once, and a lot better than the blocking ninjutsu I thought it was going to have when I started reading it.
There might be another execution with -1/-1 counters but it would be wordy. Maybe something worded like totem armor that sets a new toughness instead of dying? Or something with ludicrously high toughness that gets -1/-1 counters instead of damage? I guess what I'm saying is that the current execution is confusing, but the core concept of wearing away and revealing more knowledge is neat.
Wizard's Bulwark1UU
Creature – Wall (Uncommon)
Defender, hexproof
Your opponents play with their hands revealed.
0/5
Hexproof here creates mixed feelings for me. Knowing your opponent's hand shows how they can interact, but your creature has hexproof, you already know the answer, they can't. You'll never lose this to a pump spell, one of the ways to deal with hexproof creatures, there is synergy in that.
Control decks don't usually care about defenders, but this effect very much makes them care. It would be much more interesting IMO if they could decide if it was worth removal or not. I have to commend this design as something that is good against both aggro and control.
Rhox Contemplative(G/W)
Creature - Rhino Monk {U}
Defender
Exalted (Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
Rhox Contemplative's toughness is equal to the number of untapped creatures you control

The 2 abilities are complementary. Creates a lot of board presence and micro decisons. I can't decide if this is better or worse than Guardians of Akrasa. This is a good thing, since it means it is interesting and I would be excited to play with it and find out
The Gate of Nyx3WWW
Legendary Enchantment Creature - Wall (MR)
Defender
You cannot lose the game and your opponents cannot win the game.
Other untapped creatures you control are indestructible.
0/8
This is a very flavorful and cool concept, however This seems like it would lead to a miserable gameplay experience. It discourages both players from attacking and not all decks/colors can deal with it. It fails the doomblade test spectacularly if they can deal.
It definitely feels Mythic despite being a wall, which is a difficult task.
Wall of Desperation1W
Creature - Elemental Wall (U)
Defender
As long as you have 5 or less life, Wall of Desperation can block any number of creatures.
0/5
Simple, Elegant, ability is flavorful. A little under powered (Cf. Wall of Glare), it should be an uncommon for the complexity of it, but it seems like the kind of card I'd never end up drafting/playing unless there was something else to make it good, Indestructability, pump, etc.
2/4
Seems a little redundant, Balduvian Warlord could mess with the opponent's blocks. This only moving itself doesn't do too much since you commit to blocks after your opponent commits to attackers anyway. It just gets to avoid combat tricks if they attack with multiple creatures and block unblockables. It feels weird that it doesn't need to be blocking to use it's ability.
Crumbling Barricade3
Artifact Creature - Wall (Uncommon)
Defender
Whenever Crumbling Barricade blocks, destroy it at the end of combat. "It might not hold for long, but it can sure bury our opponents under it!"
- Akiri, Line-Slinger
5/5
I like this idea to let a wall permenently deal with an attacker, but it has been done before. It feels a little underpowered (Cf. Stoic Ephemera)
I don't think WotC would template it with "destroy" instead of "sacrifice" as is the case with Crumbling Colossus, which I assume is this Card's namesake.
Marco: Telepathy is an interesting card that doesn't get much play. In my experience, it gets you hated unproportionately, because it makes you feel naked. Slapping it onto a defender creature is a good way to have this effect and alleviate the hate this brings towards you. I do think this merits gold rarity.
Zemoo: This is odd. In one hand, I feel it a bit messy, in the otherz lota of stuff can be donw with it. The cost-reduction clause is great: You can Harmless Offering an annoying artifact Like Rust elemental or Grid Monitor and get a 5/5 flying blocker for 4 mama. It can also serve as anti-stealing tech or just come for a few hits along howling mine or meekstones or any other card with an effect with no regards on who controls it. A card with this much text shouldn't have flavor text. It pushes the limits of printability but being so odd and mythic, who knows. I can't think of many waya to simplify it except loqeeing the cost and turning the forst part into a ETB effect.
Koopa: What can I say. I love it. It's just simple and very white. This is something I would try.
Bravelion: Veey well put together. The off color activation helps its balance.
RaikouRaider: The combination of hight toughness and deathtouch can be a problem in limited. I appreciate the drawback but it won't matter many times.
Totallyhaywire: A supee-persisting wall with a bit of a Reef Worm vibe.Intereating. The scry sgould probably be reduced to 1, as adding this kind of card selection to such a hard-to-remove blocker can be too perfect.

It just gets to avoid combat tricks if they attack with multiple creatures and block unblockables. It feels weird that it doesn't need to be blocking to use it's ability.
